A good game and a good result. It was good to see Jacobs play more in a No 10 position than on the wing. Not everything came off for him but I thought he made Pompey a little more creative in the final third than they have been. If I have a criticism it was that Pompey's periods of sustained pace and pressure were not long enough.
The way things are going to pan out, I cannot see any team getting to 90 points. I would go with something like 86 to secure pole position and mabue low 80s for the second team. With so many competitive teams, a points return of around 76 will be needed to secure a play off place. Happy with the result. We just need to keep the gap between ourselves and the top 6 to around 3 points going into the New Year.
