    Lads what a performance!

    Popped down again.

Started a bit average as normal but didn't let any goals in this time.

Got the goal and started playing well and then went down to 10 men.

I was annoyed as I thought that would destroy the game but actually we rose to the occasion and were excellent!

They had a lot of posession as you'd expect but we were clinical, defended well, and attacked well.

Best game I can remember I've seen at Fratton.

    O'Brien. Love him!

Works his heart out and clearly gets Pompey.

Atmosphere was really good too! Rocking at times.

The lads and the Cowley's looked like they enjoyed it.

This group certainly has good spirit and the Cowleys have got us playing good football and scoring loads of goals.

Last three games I've been to we've scored 11 goals and conceded 3. Good stuff!

Raggettinho scored again and was excellent all game.

Defence and midfield really worked hard for the clean sheet.

    Great stuff.

I'm proper hoarse from the singing!

Hopefully, Hirst, Romeo, Cárter will become permanent signings. And O'Brien offered a decent contract. If I were the Pompey management, I would be making every effort to do this asap!

Thanks woopert. 7 points off the playoffs at the beginning of March, not insurmountable. Automatics might be a bit unlikely though.

I think the pressure of maintaining a play-off place for much of last season effected.the players. In contrast to the situation last season, I sense that the team are "pressure free" and are enjoying their football now, Hirst in particular as the goals are beginning to flow. I hope Pompey can make his signing permanent if he is interesed and Leicester and prepared to part. The way he is performing now, his fee has undoubtedly increased, and others will no doubt be interested in securing his services. The point you raised re- play-offs. It is a tall order but as in horse-racing parlance, some times teams come from a long way back to achieve promotion like Blackpool last season.
