I think you will find that in our own way, we have been saying that for a long time, but nobody was prepared to listen, instead kept telling us we were wrong, hate to point it out but we told you so.
I do not for one minute believe that we will a) not receive a penalty or b) we don't deserve the penalty. All I am saying is there is too much to question about how we have been run to not suspect that there are some serious skeletons in the closet.....
To be truthful it would be ironic to find that AA did something he shouldn't have during the last episode. OK I won't make things worse but wouldn't it be though?
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.....and I do not believe that anyone imagined things would ever get this bad. We have been used by these crooks and there was never a way out - we HAD to keep the faith and we HAD to put up with what we had because there is sweet FA us fans could do about it. Everyone, all fans, in all leagues, no matter how much sympathy they have for PFC, should remember that NONE of this is the fans fault - the fans, staff, local companies and HMRC are the victims in a battle that none of them could do a thing about. This is all down to Gaydemek and Chanrai's feud. Hopefully the new administrator will find a skeleton in the closet that will unearth the truth in how these crooks have used our club and left it to die.
If there was no further punishment to Portsmouth Football Club and AA/BC and their croonies get found out then I would be happy.
The problem was that the decent Pompey fan was too honest and the blue mist veiled the truth from their view, I have great sympathy with the majority, but do feel that something could have been done earlier, perhaps our example of ousting Lowe could have given you a hint?
Could be up to a 20 point deduction as they have been in admin 2years running. FL will discuss it at their next meeting.
No it was not just that......Saints were being quoted on the stock exchange at the time and the shares just kept going down until they were suspended. Lowe lost the backing of the board. Saints fans did play a huge part in his down fall though. Lets face it he really treated the saints fans with a lack of respect and he paid the price. In Pompey's case it is different because they do not have the stock exchange to deal with or a board of directors responsible to share holders. It would be more difficult in some ways to have a major influence on any of the decisions because they are privately owned, which of course now applies to us too.
They've got a 10 point deduction http://www.football-league.co.uk/fo...mpey-given-10-point-deduction_2293334_2614922
Thanks for the info Ted - I was unaware of how Lowe was ousted. Obviously the key part above is that we, as fans of PFC, were in no position oust the crooks - when we thought we were saved (CSI) and we were spun the lies, there was still nothing we could do. If we stopped going to games we lose the club completely - a lose-lose situation for us. I am pleased that the football league have decided to keep the penalty down to 10 points - guilty conscience?
I totally agree...in most cases of this nature it is as you describe a lose-lose situation. It is as I predicted only 10 points. At least now you know what you have to strive for on the pitch. Trouble is are they going to make you lose some of you best players to loans to lower the out goings. It just won't go away will it.......
As i have stated above, things are going to get a lot messier before it gets better. There are so many unanswered questions that need answering for the sanity of the fans. A fresh face in the new administrator is a BIG win today in my opinion. Lets hope he can work the wonders he has at other financially stricken clubs at Fratton Park....
It was pre Not606.com time, but I got involved through posts on BBC 606 site which outlined what was going on at SM, without that input I would have been non the wiser and would have happiliy continued in my red tinted glasses thinking nothing was going wrong, the power of the Internet message site certainly played it's part in the outcome and we have to admit we were lucky in what we got out of it, but we went to hell and back before the good times rolled.
That is why we can understand something of how the Pompey fans are feeling. It ain't pleasant and not to be recommended.
Nah, ten points will do. The three teams at the bottom are going to try that bit harder now, which helps alleviate West Hams easy games & also keeps Pompey on the edge.....for entertaining purposes only of course. Ten points will see them relegated...............at St Marys maybe. Ten points will do. Twenty would be just a tad rude.
