Was just typing how i dont think Wenger will send any more players to us, after AMN has had all the forward drive and flair knocked out of him!! TBH, i still stand by that thought though, he came here an exciting player but has been piss poor for a while now!!

I always thought Varney was overrated by many on here. Doesn't score, a technically limited player, and how he gets game-time is beyond me.

Concentrate on the league.....personally I think you should play your strongest team every game....let the youngsters impress in the reserves... ....it was nice to give Spanish a run out tonight though.. I do agree it's a shame that cups don't hold any attraction anymore not just to us but to many teams.....as with other areas of the game it's been spoilt by the drive to get to the top table or to stay at the top table.
Well our fantastic record in the cup continues! At least we got a replay in the 3rd round this year Anyway, hopefully will get to the 4th round next year when we are in the Premiership!

Couldn't catch much of the match, busy at work, but what I did hear didn't sound good. Only choice is to concentrate on the league now, hope that ends well in May.

I thought about going because I still love the F A Cup but a 200 mile round trip to watch our reserves? What an insult to those who made the trip and full credit to them for going by the way. Spanish got it right when he said there was a time when teams put out there strongest sides for Cup matches and players wanted to be involved in it, but now we wrap our players in cotton wool and insult the competition by fielding our weakest sides, disgraceful!
