But the Pompey fans aren't responsible for the actions of their owners. I'm sure most of them who enjoyed their day (and who wouldn't) already feel that their happy memories are tainted. Think the fans have been punished enough..they don't need to wear sackcloth and ashes.
Again, your ignoring the fact that many, many teams in the history of football have bought success. This success is not made illegitmate by the money spent to achieve it, nor the financial chaos left in its wake. The is no valid reason whatsoever to expunge the FA Cup win of 2008 from Pompey's history books. There are many reasons not to crow about it, many reason to even be ashamed of it but no reason whatsoever to say it never happened.

Agree with you there. fans of both clubs do themselves few favors with the abuse and ranting on there. Unlike the forums there seems to be a terminal sense of humour loss.
I just go to see what is happening with our neighbours but then end up reading the comments many of which make my blood boil. As for commenting myself I leave that to our own little band of morons who go on there and make comments equally as obnoxious.
Sounds like a 'fatal fascination' to me - similar to sticking your finger in acid to see if it really will burn you. St Godders - you need to read down as far as the comments then quickly move on - like the rest of us sensible people do.
