Their of topic thread seems to have calmed things down, as mentioned above, so this exercise may prove to be academic. However, we thought it expedient to get your views so that, should circumstances 'down the road' alter, we can be in a position to make the offer. <ok>

Hi guys,

It is great that you guys would even consider this!

Many thanks for the thoughts whatever happens.

On a more serious note how are things playing out with chanrai vs the PST?

I saw the chanrai letter, and thought what a cheek. He's hardly had the clubs interests at heart in the past? Hope it works out.

Latest news is that neither PST or Portpin are in a position to finalise their bids for the club so Trevor Birch has given them a deadline of 2 weeks.

Did you notice the sentence where he says he's pumped in a significant investment and is only asking for a fair return? I'm sure the football creditors, HMRC and the local businesses would like a fair return as well - perhaps he should set his asking price at the same value as he's offered them.

Well he's apparently 'owed' €17 million so, with Portpin's offer to creditors being 2% maybe the PST should offer him €340,000 for FP, after which he can F*** off.

Don't beat about the bush SB3 - just come out with what you really think

As far as the point of this thread is concerned, how would Saints fans react if the situation was reversed ? Would they readily welcome us en masse on their board ?

I doubt it very much.

However, as long as they leave "us" alone, it's o.k. with me.

Woopert along with several of our board I believe you would all be welcome and as long as peace reigned I would foresee there being no problems. Quite a few of both sets of fans are more than capable of sensible posting and maybe another option would be to simply have an open topic thread like that on our side of the fence. I note that some have already visited and with luck our countries problems could be sorted out between us. Added to that the off topic threads would allow posting that ignors your club preferences.

Of course not. There's far more hatred from Saints fans towards Portsmouth fans on this website than vice versa.

Not surprising as there are far more Saints fans on this website than Pompey fans. Probably the proportion of problem fans are the same. We have 4 or 5 idiots and you have at least one<whistle>

I'll back this idea of it is put forward.

I don't see the point in winding people up as I am not 7 years old anymore :)

Would be grateful.

I haven't been too concerned about it, but this subject has priced and provoked a lot of idiots on our board..
