Taken out of contents imo , but you dont get much of a chance around here . I believe vetch was making a "General statement " about African men as they are raised on the African continent. Thats how I took it and have no idea if its right or wrong but respect vetch spent massive time there.
@Jack Uzi, same goes for the comments above tarring all muslims. But it's ok these posters are just "passing on knowledge". I better pass on that knowledge to my muslim neighbour who's wife owns her own business and his daughters have just entered grammar school. He clearly isn't doing it right lol
Im afraid im a closet tom foolery and and hate Islam and the way they treat women worse than anyone . Like I said on another post , I realise that not all Muslim men are extremist but they all rule their women with an iron fist and it maddens me .

Some do treat their women badly, but it's a problem with all cultures in the subcontinent (much less so religion). You look at India and it's just as prevalent among Sikhs and Hindus as well, but it has very little to do with religion, moreso a backward culture with men who clearly have too much penis envy and desire to subjugate their women through a sense of control and power. I will take a leaf out of Libertarian's book by saying I know this bcos I've spent a lot of my time in the subcontinent among these people (as well as the middle-east where I have seen arab muslims and jews treat their women like subjects) - I know you will see this as knowledge rather than simply opinion.

I 'm a racist , I feel I have to to survive . IF Muslims had the power of domination , you'd see extremists come out of the woodwork.. I don't push my extreme dislke but I always keep an eye . But thats me ... vetch is a whole different issue .
The problem is that the 'extremists' tend to be louder, even if they're a minority.
I agree that it's a cultural thing too re treatment of women. They get a raw deal right across Africa and Asia (before I get slammed, no not everywhere). But when the Qur'an tells Muslims to beat their wives (but only when they disobey them so that's OK) it's little wonder this goes on. Muhammad himself beat one of his favourite wives apparently for leaving the home without his permission. Goodness knows what he did to his other wives.
Qur'an (4:34) - "Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great."
The book even tells you how to do it:
Qur'an (38:44) - "And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with it, and do not break your oath..."
Not about religion? Really? This is the Islamic holy book - so revered that non believers aren't suppose to even touch the thing. When your own religion condones and even encourages violence against women it's little wonder that cultures have adopted that approach.

I am not racist nor am I against any religion but the muslims make no secret that they want and are after a single muslim state. They can achieve this passively and aggressively depending on where they choose to target and the modus operandi for the target area. Having said that most other religions probably want the same...
