Getting drunk regularly is ruled out for most of us unless we buy cheap muck that tastes like paintstripperr and is popular with tramps. We can get drunk occasionally, but something has to pass the time in between.

Screwing is also ruled out for us weedy, ugly and charmless majority.

I'll admit to not sniffing solvents, other than small quantities of tippex or board pens at school and nothing interesting happened.

Young people, particularly students, tend to have a fair bit of time on our hands. Frequently, it doesn't occur to us to use it constructively.

    I'm 19.

Well being in my 40's but with Un-naturally young (!) looks and the mind of a teenager, I must fit in both camps :)

I was going add "and the body of a youngster" too, but did not want to appear too blasé

Come on Saints fans, let's not squabble or I'll get my Dad, and my Dad is bigger than yours

No harm in it, but hurry up new season, when we can slag each other off over real issues.

It's good to see a young profile to our fan base, for better or worse the youth are our future.

Those under 20 might just reflect that by the time they fill in a Poll sometime in the mid 2030's and tick the "in your 40's" box (assuming you can find your reading classes to tick the correct box) that you will have built up a 20 year veneer of dissappointment, frustration, failures and "if only's" that mean you too will be tainted with cynicism and prejudice, especially towards those lucky enough to be ticking the "under 20" box. look forward too it and enjoy!

The best pubs have a mixture of ages and so do the best forums. What is the point in having a forum where a load of old farts sit around discussing the 1960's and 70's.Equally a forum which has only teens and members in their 20's would be pretty boring.

The best age to be is the one you are at present.I enjoyed the music and football of my youth, but now enjoy watching my kids (although their music is shiete) enjoy themselves. My Dad enjoys his grandchildren and watching me turning into him.

One final point to the oldies on here, let's go easy on the nippers. It's not their fault they missed out on 1976, Ted and Lawrie, Keegan and Ball and that their music is dire.

    I'm off for a Horlicks and a lie down.<ok>

No problem with the youngster posting, just think it explains SOME of the rubbish threads, hence a little light hearted banter. When I was in my late teens early 20's banter was all the rage. People taking things to heart and with aggressive replies is a shame. But not really an issue with me.

I wasn't born in 76 to remember it.

Well, you can put the glue on the rim of your pint glass and inhale while your downing your drink but at the same time your screwing.

Well this was only supposed to be a bit of fun. I think one of the nice things about message boards is that you don't really know how old the person you are posting to is. Although you can usually make a fair stab. Metaphorically speaking!;)
