    Messi had a better world cup than Ronaldo. Plus he isn't as selfish, that's one of the reasons Barcelona are a better team than Madrid.

    That's true. But if he gets shoulder to shoulder he won't be pushed off easy, he'll always battle.

    You say there is just physical strength, but people built like a twig can push huge tankish opponents off the ball despite being phsically inferior. Messi will get shoulder to shoulder and will rarely get pushed off as he battles. Ronaldo will get shoulder to shoulder and one knock will see him go to ground, so i suppose it's not strength, it's determination. But strength is near enough impossible to judge since Ronaldo doesn't ever show if he is strong or not.

    This. Because Ronaldo scored a lucky tap in and Messi didn't score people assume he was ****e. But everything that team done went through Messi. He played a much more creative role as he didn't have the quality of Iniesta and Xavi in midfield.

    Sorry, i'm not a fan of the toon, and couldn't care less wht happens with your team. It's always newcastle fans who seem to think we care about what is going on. Don't cry to me when i start posting Arsenal articles on GC.

    Oh yeah that would be a bit far. If we're going by fifa styled ratings then i'd say Messi and Ronaldo both around 70-75.

    Ronaldo would make a wee man out of Messi in a fair 50/50 shoulder if he wanted to but he still might not fall over because of his god-like balance.
