Really? Would he still stick to his guns even though it meant the Labour Party splitting up? Would he really be so selfish?
It seems the rest of the PLP will unite behind one candidate, who will challenge Corbyn. If Corbyn wins again (and he might if his supporters are able to recruit enough from the hard left) then the Labour party as we know it may be finished.
It's astounding that, with the Conservative party so split over Europe, Labour are STILL in worse shape.

And the Liberals Democrats are nowhere, as far as I can see. There ought to be political ground to be made here, but they're not equipped for it.
If his name is on the card he will win again. Same system and same voters. He is more popular now than he was even back then.
I am a Labour voter . I joined the Party in the belief that Corbyn was a breath of fresh air . A man of principles he is , BUT a leader he is not .
Sad to say I will hold the exit door open for him , I doubt I am alone .
There is a movement that has backed him though. Not sure what their agenda is but it is bigger now than it was when they managed to get him in

May I suggest that you and your friends that voted for Corbyn get a letter to labours headquarters with as many signatures as you can muster to get him to resign. It is beginning to look like it is the only way the Labour Party can be saved. Other wise it might be totally wrecked........errr if it ain't already that is. It doesn't look good that's for sure.........
Have Unison changed their mind since yesterday? or are they still behind him. Unison has a conference for Labour party members next week!!

It's more than a mess. As I said a few pages back, Jeremy needs to take one for the team, and resign, then unite his followers behind his successor. Then the party need to come up with some believable policies that resonate with the working class.
I'm guessing, from your post, you might be a Tory?
Should Boris be selected to lead the party, would your vote, in a General Election, still be cast for the Tories, in the knowledge that you are putting an outrageous liar into the most powerful position, in the country?

On the Corbyn front the whole point is they need him to resign or his name will be on the paper and he will win again. If he resigns he proabably won't get enough nominations to get on the paper so he is sitting it out. Believe it or not his side of the Labour party are more electable in their heartlands than the rest of the Blairites in the PLP. Like I said he is trying to keep the Labour party brand name for the working class left side as there will undoubtedly be a split in my opinion unless they can get him to jump first. I don't think Corbyn's supporters in the PLP are behind him as a leader. They are on the same page as him as wanting the Labour party to represent the working class and after whatever happens this week it would then be 1 election new leader but old school labour.
On the Boris front from what I have been reading is that there is every chance that Boris will not make the cut and the Tories are working hard to get backing for other candidates to stop him getting to the final 2.
As for the would I vote Boris if he did win? Depends what the other options are. No one at this point knows what other parties there would be and at the end of the day it would still be the Tories. I voted Cameron last time even though I knew he had lied and people voted Blair after he had lied. Not many politicians are not liars if you want to look at things that way.
So Corbyn is toast. He is the incumbent so will go on the ballot paper if he sticks it out. But don't think those that have put their name behind him are actually behind him. They are after the party not a Corbyn revolution.
