Problem is that if Uncle Trumpty is ousted then Vance will become POTUS. I think that would be scarier.I see Trump has suffered a reversal in the courts overnight regarding the implimentation of his tariffs. There is an appeal pending but it does feel like the firat significant challenge to him.
At the same time, several press outlets are reporting Republican concern about Trump's performance and cognative abilities especially regarding the inability to deal with Putin.
Am i sensing the first moves to curtail Trump by people other than Democrats ?
That’s not really the systems fault it’s the fault of the people that can’t be arsedThe problem in this country is that you only need to be popular with 30-35% of the electorate to be in with a chance of full power over 100% of the population for 5 years.
FPTP needs to go.
I dont think it is right that Labour have the majority they have on 33% of the vote either.
Well said!Just reading an interview with Jacinda Ardern about her memoir. I thought this was very impressive…
In the book, she describes how Trump called her after the massacre, and it’s subtly revealing about both of them. “We discussed what might happen to the terrorist,” she writes. “I used that word, ‘terrorist’, specifically and President Trump asked if we were calling the gunman that.” She said to him: “Yes, this was a white man from Australia who deliberately targeted our Muslim community. We are calling him that.”
Trump did not respond, but asked if there was anything America could do. “You can show sympathy and love for all Muslim communities,” she told him. It was the reverse of the politics of division: she says that the terrorist “chose us because he knew that New Zealand openly welcomed people of all faiths. He wanted to destroy that.”
If this was in a fictional programme you would say the plot is ridiculous. LolThis is genuinely hilarious.

I can see Reform run councils having a lot of staff issues if the following is true. And they claim to represent the working people despite their voting record in the HoC proving the opposite.Interesting article about other parties refusing to work with Reform following their local election successes. They are being outsmarted the Liberals and Conservatives because they have no understanding how councils work. Starting took like Refirm are naive and a bit out of their depth. Other parties now working directly against them.
