Can you stop lying about the manifesto?

"Establish GB Energy - headquartered in Scotland - to build clean and cheap homegrown power for the British people. We will set out its strategic remit and investment framework as well as prepare its initial portfolio of energy projects - from new nuclear, to Local Power, and deploying leading edge technologies"

The early goal is clearly this. All laid out in the manifesto.

"Labour will take up to £1,400 off the annual household bill and £53 billion off energy bills for businesses by 2030, by delivering a cheaper, zero-carbon electricity system by 2030."

This is the timeframe in the manifesto. These are the words of the manifesto.

I have read the manifesto and cannot find your quote at all. Can you link to it?
I can't stop lying because I haven't lied at all.

It's in there. If you can't find it that's your problem. I'm not your secretary.

Rachel Reeves expenses claims for accommodation in the last 4 years in opposition.

Nothing underhand, and I would guess nearly all MPs do the same, but how nice of the public to fund the CWP thief her utility bills. No chance of her getting cold in those years.
Or now because she won't have to worry about utility bills now she lives in a heavily subsidised No11 or the grace and favour 21 room Dorneywood Manor.
The house that she and her husband own in London? That's been rented out while she's got the use of publicly funded No11. Yes, she's a landlord!<monster>
Looks like Rachel doing pretty well for herself thanks very much.

What??? How have you done this? Just a post back you showed us it was still 2022!!!!! Now you have time travelled two years into the future! YOU ARE A GOD!

Hahaha. You're the one who's spent years whining about austerity only to turn around and say Labour's cuts are just doing what needs to be done.
Exactly. This is why I don't get you. Labour have set out a very clear 5 year plan. It is very, very clear how they intend to reduce costs and improve our lives.

I just lived through 15 years of Tory **** ups. But you cannot give Labour 1 year before decrying them as liars and morally defunct. Let's judge them in a year. Because that is what sane, rational people who are not utterly motivated by the desperate need to be "right" do.

Even if we give them all the way to 2030 to prove themselves, they will have had only a little over a third the time it took for the Tories to do nothing positive in at all.

Edited to say: man who has been whining about Labour for years has cheek to accuse me of whining, in post chain HE STARTED by calling Starmer HYPOCRIT. Hmm...

I've just spent half an hour reading 5 years of posts. I think he should read his own post history.

Good for you - I can include myself in this as well I guess. But the attacks I was referring to were more around the political slandering of a personal nature to mainly Tory MPs.

You know what, It doesnt make much difference to me how you see things, but you do seem to be hanging on something to have a pop at me, well done you, big man :emoticon-0148-yes:"

Yet another sarcastic reply from someone desperate for attention.

That was a depressing deep-dive into the post history of someone who has been consistently claiming he "doesn't insult people" and is "being bullied" for 5 years straight.

Jeez, getting desperate digging that chesnutt - what a **** I am - how vicious <yikes><yikes><yikes> And almost typical of you not to follow that discussion from start to finish either - almost like you have an agenda with me. Poor you <badger>

Think you are starting to get a little personal now, dont you - doesnt usually end well for you when you get all uptight, does it sweetheart...

Now, not being as sad as you, I certainly wont waste my highly paid time trawling through stuff. I know it is there, that is enough for me.

Not getting into a ding-dong again though with you, not good for the forum to have to trawl through :emoticon-0148-yes:

"not getting into this" and not "wasting my time" are your two recurring themes all the way through! You must say both 20 times! You are intellectually lazy and nothing more than a WUM.

Stop unblocking me, my intellect scares you too much.

Mate, ive said, genuinely plenty of times, that you are a very, very smart guy. I meant that. I still do.

I think it's best you block me then, as why would you want to engage with someone intellectually lazy and a WUM (and on this thread, I largely am, like I haven't ever really cared so much about it, people take me way, way to seriously.?

I mean, me saying not getting into a ding-dong is someone saying this is gonna go round in circles, our views are not aligned in many, if any, areas of life - is stopping it in its tracks before it descends into getting personal, which looks like it already started. Which is a shame.

Looks like you went to the same account school as Rachel Reeves. 20 times! £22bn black hole we didnt know about!

Enjoy the rest of your day, fella - dont take everything so seriously :emoticon-0148-yes:

Dude, If you want me to go back and link to all the times you say it, you will be embarrassed...

If you made the slightest effort to engage then it wouldn't be a "dingdong". For 5 years you have come on this thread, made brash statements, been accused of being a WUM, got upset about it, accused us all of being bullies...

And now "a WUM (and on this thread, I largely am)". So, maybe you just get what you are after every time you come on here.

That's what you took from my post? Wow!

So look, I have an issue if I get taken the wrong way, which has happened on here at times.

I get that is a fault of mine, and I fight back if I feel that happens. I guess some folks dont like that, part of it is upbringing, and part of it is my autism.

There was a particular occasion where I was rounded on, by a poster in Norfolk, amongst others on here. And it was bullying. I raised it with the Mods, and it got ignored at the time. Later, to be fair to Chilco, and I know we dont see eye to eye on stuff, he recognised what happened and DM'd me about it - that was a lovely gesture btw Chilcs :emoticon-0148-yes: But loading, clearly you know best...

I guess that stuck when I said that, I have said it a few times since, which is unfair of me to continue to do so.

But you labelling me as you have above, isnt totally accurate - not that is is important, but there are plenty of posts where made brash statements, wound people up, got upset, and accused everyone of being bullies - think you are stretching that. And I certainly wouldn't be embarrassed - we could literally have the same convo about different situations/people and we have all said things that we wouldnt necessarily say.

Like I say, I think you take me far to seriously, and some of what you have said about me is true, but being brash etc was all part of me not being always so serious.

This. My point is there is nothing hypocritical about doing what has to be done. And the moaning from the right-leaners here - as if somehow Labour have to have turned the world into a socialist utopia in the first 6 months of power or they are liars and failures - is ironic since some of these same people used the term "remoaners" incessantly for 5 years after Brexit.

Your hypocrisy is absolutely staggering.

If the Tories did what labour are doing you’d be going mad with rage <laugh>

Tories vote to bin off Cleverly, the only sane option they had left.
Jenrick is more left than Cleverley despite what he has been trying to paint himself as in the run up to this. Cleverley would've lost to Badenoch in the member's vote anyway..........just like I said months ago. Only way she would not win is if she didn't make the final 2 because all those nasty right wing racist misogynistic Tory members would've voted for her if given the chance instead of Sunak/Truss and they are even more in favour of her now!

Either way Tories are done for at the mo even with Labour struggling.

The MPs ****ed up. They don't want Badenoch so Jenrick adopted this about face "right winger" facade to try and get into the final 2 against Cleverly, hoping they could get rid of her before the last 2 and then today Cleverley's support has tried to tactically vote Jenrick through and ****ed that up too :D
