Shows the potential range of the “incel” meme because I thought the same about the guy who plotted those horrible things with Holly Willoughby as the target. Even though that term is extremely overused at the moment
 
The best outcome of this, if there is any best, would be for Biden and Trump to start building bridges, to start softening their tone on a range of issues, but they won't as their game is all about power!!!

Haven’t some Republican politicians come out and either said or implied Biden ordered a hit. That’s not softening the tone. They have much laxer slander laws over there from what I understand

And from what I understand among the mainstream American politicians it’s one side that is trying to make political capital. Unless you call expressing shock and concern to the victim as making political capital - which I don’t. At least not compared to trying to claim that it was ordered

It’s either weapons grade ignorance or a truly staggering level of cognitive dissonance. And of course a firm belief in “alternative facts” (haven’t heard that one in a while)

Another fascinating point that wasn’t brought up earlier - when it was revealed the guy was a Republican there were all sorts of denials and excuses made. But if he had been revealed to be a registered Democrat we all know what the response would have been. No excuses or explanations. It would have been accepted at face value and weaponised. But brazen hypocrites are going to carry on being brazenly hypocritical
