Only because the police turn a blind eye to the Hamas protestors, and treated the counter protestors like the worst criminals possible
Counter protestors? Is that what they were there for, to protest that a load of other people were protesting? I saw lots of people being 'proud to be English' and having a ruck with the police, but I didn't see any protests against the Palestinians? What were they doing at the Cenotaph where the Palestinian supporters weren't going to be?
When a bunch of racists decide to have a day out in London, it doesn't make them counter protestors, they're just a huge fight looking for an excuse to happen.

Were these "counter protesters" bussed into London from outside. Can't imagine any Londoners being part of this kind group!!

she was correct unfortunately. Anyone that would drape flags on war memorials this weekend is ****ing disgusting.

And you are completely brain dead
Oh dear Os is that the response of a university educated self proclaimed intellectual superpower?

There's a shade under 10 million people live in London Ides. They're not a community, just 10 million people living in the same city. I'm sure London has its own share of racists without having to bus any in although this particular bunch of pricks might have been on a day trip

Very mixed. My immigration stance is probably quite right wing, though not as much as the Tories. Lol my Dad has said I am the wrong complexion to hold these values. My view of the economy and taxation is definitely right of centre, though welfare I am definitely on the left. No one should be on the streets in 2023 (it ISNT a lifestyle choice) and those that can afford it should help pay for those that can’t. That said, it isn’t a crime to earn good money if you work hard and you should be able to keep it - I don’t agree with the ‘tax the wealthy they can afford it’ stance at all.

Yep very mixed up I know. Also I am an atheist and don’t believe the n wars or violence to solve problems.

lol with all these conflicting views a shrink would have a field day with me.

Edit

My immigration stance is that we need to control it and have quotas. Those that want to immigrate have to show that they can contribute to the country and they have something to offer. They must also embrace our culture - they don’t have to lose their identity, but become British. This is coming from the son of Italian and Indian immigrants.

Asylum seekers I am mixed on. We have to give them refuge, but they contradict the above.
Thanks
May reply at some point
As I said though, not easy to put everyone in boxes is it?

If peace was the intent of the organisers then I’d be with you. Incidentally, one of the organisers is a former Hamas leader and lives in a help to buy property in London, on the borders of one of the biggest Jewish communities in the country.

Organisers of pro-Palestinian march praise Hamas ‘resistance’

Wanting a temporary ceasefire is not necessarily the same as wanting peace. If it was, they’d be marching for the release of hostages surely?
I think you’ll find that the March will include different views and will draw in more extreme elements, but the majority will be marching for peace and will want it from both sides

The Hamas connection may or may not be true but won’t represent the majority

You’ll find some people at the Cenetaph with some pretty extreme views too, but again only a minority and shouldn’t distract from the occasion

It’s because you’re a decent human and want what is best for all, but some issues are so difficult to balance.

So big and brave without his friends that he put himself on the VP wing for his stint inside.

He is without doubt one of the very worst things to come out of this country in the last 20 years.
It's a high bar, Farage, Johnson. The entire cabinet and other dirtboxes vie for the top spot. Yoxspot is a skidmark on society's underwear.

Farage and Johnson are pretty unpalatable but even as someone who dislikes them I think it's unfair to put them in the same box as Tommy two names. The man is ****ing vile, and a coward to boot. The vast majority of the EDL that I've met are genuinely some of the thickest people in the country. I don't just mean stupid politically, I mean full on ridiculously low IQ barely removed from animals level of intelligence. The fact Tommeh decided to weaponise that stupidity and profiteer from it fills me with the ****ing rage.

I`ve visited the Boy David memorial many times - my Grandad was in the Machine Gun Corps, and I`m very proud of him. I wish I was there to challenge these disrespectful tossers.

I think it is perfectly fair to put Bunter and Farage on the same level as Braverman and this guy Robinson. They might have different ways of communication but it is still the same message. All four are equally vile!!

if you believe in Welfare, you must believe in taxation and I presume you believe in some sort of sliding scale, so that seems moderate, just a matter of who pays how much
What should the Welfare do though?
Supporting people to work their way to independence rather than keeping them dependent
