No borderline about it, it was a planned assault on democracy by trying to overturn a free and fair, settled election that thankfully failed.
He and his cronies should be charged with treason.

Ludicrous that people actually think like this.

He literally tweeted on the day to stay calm and peaceful

Also for someone who's usually so against "mainstream media" - they really started churning out that Corbyn was anti semitic during his election campaign.

Yeah, I didn’t necessarily believe it either until he started saying blatantly anti-Semitic things. Funny how that works

Explain why he was 10000 times better? He isn't our President. He says appalling things. He stokes up racism - which you are currently decrying in somebody else two posts up. He is demonstrably corrupt. He has no problem bullying people. He cheats at golf.

Trumps speech to the Arab Israeli summit, in 2017.

When the Arab accords were about to be signed and there was a president in the White House that was genuinely anti-war.

I guarantee it is the first time you or others here have heard this or know anything about his pursuit of world peace because the media was quick to denigrate him.

The military industrial complex can’t allow peace in the world, it’s bad for business.

It’s no coincidence that the machine is against him, and as soon as he is out of office wars happen everywhere.

That’s the funniest thing I’ve heard all day. Keep it up mate.

He also tweeted that "Mike Pence never had the courage" to overturn the votes with fake ones knowing full well that an angry bloodthirsty mob was already attacking the Capitol and resulted in them chanting "hang Mike Pence".
He told his mob to come to Washington and then various speakers whipped them up with violent rhetoric like "fight like hell for the country" and "trial by combat" and then directed them to the Capitol knowing full well what was likely to happen.
It's ludicrous to bury your head in the sand and think that it wasn't pre planned.

Not a joke. Not sure what’s funny? He was much more competent and respected on the global stage than Biden.

Antone outside the bubble of liberal western media understands this

I think it was a good speech. But one speech isn’t enough. By recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel he helped stir up this current crisis. The speech was seen by many as an attempt to build friendship with wealthy Saudi Arabia at the expense of Iran. Iran and Saudi are both huge funders of terrorism, I believe?

I won’t criticise that speech. Was a good message. But I wish an American leader would do more than grandstand and actually start up a real process for peace.

Against his will and after the violent insurrection had started and which he was enjoying. His address at the rally and completely unfounded allegations of voter fraud led to the riot/attem https://edition.cnn.com/2022/01/06/politics/trump-tweet-january-6/index.html
"A former Trump White House official said then-President Donald Trump initially refused to tweet the words “stay peaceful” as the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, was escalating."

"Top Trump aides – including the then-President’s daughter, Ivanka, and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows – were pleading with Trump to call off the mob, the ex-aide said. Those officials eventually convinced Trump to include the “stay peaceful” message in the tweet about the Capitol Police, the former aide added."

"Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, who was working as the chief of staff to the first lady on January 6, 2021, told CNN Thursday that Trump was “gleefully” watching television coverage of the riot."

I think you will find that that viewpoint is only from Americans, and Republicans at that.

Trust me I work day in, day out with them (actually 100% of my time) and have done for 4 years. They may be split (eg some are clearly democrats), but they do not see the ridicule the rest of the world was putting on them.

Trump outside the US is not respected and treated as a total joke by most. Not just on here, but normal people. Ask any random what they think of Trump and they will say something along the lines of "oh he made me laugh" or "he was so funny what he said". That isn't respect. Not saying Biden is respected and I think the world sees him as a bit of a bumbling fool, but Trump definitely is seen largely as a fool worldwide. IMO of course.

Even if he did say things which, in my opinion, is grossly over exaggerated and used as a media hit job.
He's not the only one, the Tories are just the same:

He also called Muslim women letter boxes. But none of this got anywhere near as much coverage as Corbyn. Funny that.

I've posted and I think others have, lists of the abominable johnson's racist and misogynist quotes along with the lies and misinformation he routinely spouted.

Find one.

This is a little obsession of mine. People are always saying this and nobody has ever found one. He has put his name to things since decided to be anti-semitic. Like a 100 year old book about Empire that he wrote a forward to. That is like calling anyone who likes Churchill a racist.

There has only been one president or PM in my lifetime that has ever given a speech talking about peace and togetherness like that. Even if some of it is for selfish reasons.

He is the ONLY ONE. And it was covered nowhere and effectively buried.

Like I said, it isn’t a coincidence that Biden was the establishment figurehead and multiple wars are now happening under his leadership. It was all planned. It was going to happen under Hilary but trump won and caught them all by surprise

To be honest I don’t actually want to accuse corbyn too much as I also do believe he is pro-peace and not part of the establishment. Although I vehemently disagree with all of his politics and think socialism is broadly evil, I think his heart is in the right place.

It’s an easy trope, based on the undeniable fact that there are antisemitic elements in the Labour Party, which Corbyn, just like every other Labour leader, didn’t root out. It’s also based on the rather inaccurate definition of antisemitism as being conflated with anti-Zionism.

Yes, "Jeremy corbyn, vile man that he is", "inciting hatred against Israel because he is an anti-Semite" and "calling for violence" is being very neutral.
That link didn't quote anything from Corbyn either.
