McCarthyism all over again!!
The Florida High School Athletics Association is standing by its decision to require student athletes to give their schools detailed information about their periods, an unprecedented policy that is raising major concerns about privacy.
The FHSAA announced in October that it was changing its annual physical form for student athletes to a digital version instead of paper. The form includes optional but detailed questions about students’ menstruation cycles, including when they got their first period, when they had their most recent one, and how many weeks pass between periods. Previously, only one page of the paper form—on which a pediatrician would sign off on a student being allowed to play—would be submitted to a school. But the entire digital form will now be submitted.
Despite widespread public outcry, an FHSAA panel not only decided Tuesday night to stand by that change but also recommended the menstrual history questions be made mandatory.

Why, when those who deserve a kicking are getting a kicking, do show hosts always try to derail the person making the point? You must log in or register to see media
It is GBeebies…Why, when those who deserve a kicking are getting a kicking, do show hosts always try to derail the person making the point?
Usually because they are of the same opinion of people like Farage.
Exactly. Any sensible person who goes on GBeebies should be aware they’re going to get shut down if they make people like Farage look stupid. It is GBeebies…
An example of the micro management regarding the attached post.Another Tory MP caught up in unsavoury and illegal activities, although he has laid the blame on his wife. This time the Salvation Army’s Modern Slavery team were involved as Jonathan Djanogly’s wife was unlawfully withholding pay from 2 housekeepers and was imposing draconian rules on them.
The judge found in favour of the housekeepers.
The irony is that this MP, in 2013, was “appalled” to discover that modern slavery existed in his constituency. The MP shares the house with his wife so is likely to know what working conditions the housekeepers had to comply with and the piece below shows that he is a typical shyster MP.
FORMER lawyer Jonathan Djanogly has faced scandals before during his 21 years as a Tory MP.
Elected in 2001 – replacing Sir John Major in Huntingdon, Cambs – he served as a justice minister in David Cameron’s Government. Mr Djanogly was embroiled in the expenses scandal in 2009 after claiming more than £13,000 to employ a foreign student who advertised herself as an au pair.
The MP repaid £25,000 in expenses. In 2010, it was also reported Mr Djanogly had hired private detectives to investigate aides and colleagues.
Mr Djanogly defended himself, saying: “I would never have contemplated condoning anything unlawful or dishonest in the investigations.”
His website details a 2013 exhibition highlighting the hidden nature of modern day slavery. He is quoted saying: “I was appalled to learn even my constituency is affected. I want to see the Government put modern day slavery at the top of the agenda.”
The MP, a father of two, earns £30,000 a year as chairman of a venture capital trust.
He also owns consultancy business CGLV Limited. His wife Rebecca is a director.
Interesting ruling against Amazon in Spain. Won’t have any impact on the UK, I guess, but might have an impact in other EU countries.
Online shopping giant Amazon has been condemned by a mercantile court in Madrid, for its system of employing 2,166 delivery drivers on a "self employed" basis. The workers had to supply their own vans, and had to work through the Amazon delivery app. The court considered them to be "false self employed," which enabled the company to avoid payment of the correct social security. No word in the aticle about what sort of penalty which will be imposed. More info Fresh radio Spain 08.00-10.00
