So his meetings, in the past, with private US health providers has nothing to do with this?

Can I ask - what on Earth made you think he was cut from a different cloth?I am quite surprised by Sunak as he seemed to be cut from a different cloth from the others. As it turns out, they are all one and the same. The most interesing thing about this is that he was one of the runners and riders to succeed Boris and I think this has done him a lot of damage. Liz Truss has proved herself to be incompetent in dealing with Lavrov and she is clesrly not up to the job. I am beginning to feel that a future Conservative Party will need to have leaders in position throughout the ministerial portfolios who can demonstrate no links whatsoever with Johnson. You wonder if any of the cricle who were around May could have a future or whether the party could rally around someone like Rory Stewart.
I have felt for a long time that the politics of the world had move beyond the narrow -mindedness of the Tories and there was a point when Tony Blair was in power where he seemed to being their job for them. It strikes me that the current Tory party members have elected the most self-serving group of MPs ever and have ensured that Parliament governs for the benefit of the individual ministers. There are so many of them who seem so untrustworthy that it is quite staggering. In the current form, I feel that the Conservatives are corrupt and are governing in their own interests. As a democracy, we are are now in a really bad place. I do not think the Conservatives are fit and proper to represent the Right in British politics and it is probably time that they were consigned to history. In a more liberal world threatened by global warming and increasing conflict, these are not the people we need in power. I would be inclined to argue that any future political system (whether it be PR) needs to aligning itself more to the centre and the Left or even environmental issues.A party that is so pro-capitalism is on a race to the bottom and should be proscribed in a modern and progressive society. The people the Conservatives put forwad to govern us are totally unsuitable and the values the party represents has no real standing in the 21st Century.

I guess it depends on what you would consider a victory for Russia. They seem to have given up on taking the whole countrySeems a pretty reasonable view giving the overwhelming odds that Ukraine are facing
I'm not sure any of it is criminal. Just insanely unethical and glaringly tone deaf. About as unethical as you could possibly getI would have hoped that Sunak is held to account for these issues. If the accusations are correct I wonder how serious this would be. Is there any likelihood of a criminal prosecution ?
Perhaps May 8th, VE day, which is huge in Russia??I guess it depends on what you would consider a victory for Russia. They seem to have given up on taking the whole country
Russia are going to declare some kind of victory in one months time. What that is still remains to be seen. I suggest not what they were originally expecting
It is not only the left that have fractured in France, and whose base support may have shrunk.since the glory days of Miterrand, but Les Gaullists (les Republiques, I think,) that have been pushed into the margins as well. The French presidential election is getting interesting, and by interesting I naturally mean utterly terrifying. Le Pen is pulling her usual 20ish percent in first-round polling, but she's suddenly pulling more of the run-off vote against Macron. Enough that she could potentially win.
This should be a real opportunity for LFI, the left-socialist party whose candidate is sitting third, to make a strong case that getting their candidate (Jean-Luc Melenchon) into the runoff ahead of Le Pen is the best way to stop her, and if all of the votes going to left/socialist/Green candidates coalesced behind him, they almost definitely would succeed. But the left is nothing if not capable of self-immolating over small differences, so the odds are good that those votes will instead be split six ways and the runoff will again be between Macron and Le Pen. Sigh.
That is exactly what I was referring to. I expect Putin feels he has to declare some kind of victory by thenPerhaps May 8th, VE day, which is huge in Russia??
It’s not illegal to avoid tax using perfectly legal loopholes. Therefore, in answer to your question, none at all.I would have hoped that Sunak is held to account for these issues.
