No one in the Tory party has any semblance of conservativism in them, or a spine.

Absolute mess of a government. Trying to defend the indefensible and embarrassing themselves.

To see that they’ve cut tax for the wealthy and raised it on the poor makes me angry in ways I can’t even describe.
And yet is not surprising in the slightest

Not sure . Isn’t this just a case of everyone taking the fall for him? Granted I know at least one resigned due to the Saville lie but I always expected loads of number 10 staff to go and Boris to cling on for longer

Alternatively they are resigning before they can be blamed, leaving Johnson without a scapegoat.

As part of the commitment to the undertakings given at COP26 towards fighting climate change, and as a further contribution to levelling up, government inspectors today trashed local democracy in North Somerset. The council had refused an application by Bristol Airport to expand passenger numbers from 10 million a year to 12 million, but that decision was reversed today.

Apparently Bristol Airport is owned by the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan.

COP26 just like most of the EUs climate change committees are a total sham anyway.

They fly in private jets to these meetings in order to discuss ill-thought out policies which mostly make things worse. Until they re-consider nuclear power as an option, pretty much everything they come out with is virtue signalling.

However, that expansion is a bad idea due to local infrastructure around there. I understand why it was opposed.

Did you know the EU are lowering taxes on fuel for private jets & yachts? Whilst simultaneously raising taxes on the poor and using climate change as a good excuse.

The OTPP is pretty wild. The good news is that it isn't underfunded, like most pension plans. The bad news is that it may ultimately take over the world. Over the past 30 years it has gone from being a typical pension fund to sports franchise tycoons to owning just about every big building that isn't owned by a government, or Middle East investment fund.

Wasn’t there a Mormon pension fund that has done something similar?

COP26 is absolutely nothing to do with the EU by the way.

What EU tax rises are you referring to? How can the EU lower non existent taxes on private and cargo jet fuels? Are you referring to commercial marine fuels? I pay tax on diesel for our boat in the Netherlands no reduction coming so far as I know.

He’s playing her, she is far too old for his tastes. 7 years older than him! If she wasn’t such a poisonous idiot you could almost feel sorry for her.
I was hoping that she wasn’t married because that would be a pretty brutal thing to have to see

But from reading about her it seems far worse. Divorced her multiple sclerosis afflicted husband. I don’t pretend to know the entire ins and outs of what happened there but the words “in sickness and in health” can’t help but float around my mind
