Interesting to note :

When you go on the bbc there is an image of Boris looking particularly scruffy for the live story on PMQs

Follow the link and you will see that is absolutely not what he currently looks like. It is neat by his standards

Is it supposed to a pic from close to the time of the event (albeit one in parliament). It is odd to me
 
So Boris insists that he thought the "bring your own booze" party was a work meeting. Boris mate, if I brought alcohol into a work meeting I'd be sacked for gross misconduct. Twat.

So who were guests this party ? - I would have the police interview them under oath, where they would either tell the truth((!) or perjure themselves. Also interview the staff (caterers etc) who attended, as corroboration.

Sounds like you're just jealous that you work in a such an uptight job, not a fun, relaxed atmosphere like...running the United Kingdom.

A BBC article about Sue Gray, the woman “investigating” the party claims.
Looking at the extract I have highlighted, it looks like Johnson will be in the clear.

“Even when a document trail exists, Ms Gray is enthusiastic about keeping it a secret. We know that she advised special advisers on how to destroy email (by "double-deletion") to thwart FOIA requesters. She did not advise them on the requirements of the code on public record-keeping. We also know, via the Freedom of Information Act, that she kept no log of why, how or when she destroys documents (contrary to that guidance).”

It’s a binary choice. Starmer or Johnson. Who do you pick today?

I frame the question like that because that is exactly how the question was framed in December 2019, a straight choice between Johnson and Corbyn.

High Court ruled today that the VIP Lane for PPE contracts was unlawful. It goes on and on. Johnson has no regard for the law, or even for the rules he himself imposed during lockdown.

I just listened to an interview on LBC with a woman who is now furious with herself that she followed the rules and didn’t visit her mother who died alone. How does that scumbag in no.10 look that poor woman in the eye and justify his own behaviour?

It’s quite simple for the people that vote Tory - when it benefits them it is presented as a binary choice in PMs

When it doesn’t (like now) it is framed in the way our system actually works - voting for MPs and Party and not the leader and they the leader to account etc etc
