I am enjoying watching all these countries block the Astra Seneca vaccine. It is a nice reminder that other counties than the UK can be petty and try to score cheap points. If the vaccine did not have the word Oxford attached it would not be being blocked.

The rate of clots among vaccine users us lower than the expected normal rate. Barmy modern politics in action.

It's disgraceful quite frankly.

It is 9.30 in the morning and I have already received two scam phone calls, one scam text and a scam email.

This criminality cannot be allowed to continue and should have been included in the Bill discussed by Parliament yesterday rather than this Governments attempt to stifle our freedom to demonstrate.

Absolutely. There are whole call centres in India doing nothing but scamming people. It is becoming a boom industry. We need to invest heavily in anti scamming technology and policing.

I no longer get cold callers, on the landline, as I use Sky Shield, which asks people to identify themselves, giving me the option to accept or reject the call.
Those who I want to speak to, ie family, are on the favourites list which bypasses the system.

There is also the fact that with a lot of inactivity at present, many people are not moving/walking etc so much, though others obviously have been even more active. The former category are more likely to suffer from blood clots than the latter group anyway, vaccinated or not.

We now unplug the house phone, and on our mobiles they now only ring on known numbers.
Cold calls are ridiculous, never had many until we gave our numbers out for serco track and trace.
Companies selling data to marketing businesses? I think yes.

It’s also interesting that no one has mentioned that the incidence of blood clots using the vaccine is far less than the incidence of blood clots in women taking the contraceptive pill ...... it’s, quite frankly, ridiculous

A Dr on TV said this morning causes for blood clots:

Prolonged sitting.
Prolonged bed rest.
Pregnancy.
Smoking.
Obesity.
Birth control pill.
And said there is no proof or links whatsoever to the vaccine causing clots.
Personally I think politics is being played here in Europe......dangerous as that will cost life’s.

I believe you may have a point but it will be totally denied. Can you begin to imagine if the situation was reversed? There would be the melt down of all time if we were going down this route. Really hope that the voice of reason that there is available in Europe can be eventually heard above the present noise and they get going with vaccines asap.

I see that out of 17 million random people, 24 are expected to have a car accident within the next week. I may hold off on my jab on Thursday until I see how many people have car accidents after taking the Oxford jab.
