He’s surrounded himself with so many sycophants in his cabinet I think it’s highly unlikely tbh.
Albeit it should be exactly what they do today, but they won’t.
Pence was, until yesterday, sycophant-in-chief, but he did the right thing twice yesterday. First he presided over the count, and went back after the coup to complete the job. Then he was the one who ordered the National Guard to deploy, after Trump had repeatedly refused to. He is the most important person in the conversation now, because he has to agree to take charge. The Republican leadership have almost entirely deserted Trump now.
Poor America! They will be bringing this up forever!
Rep. Jason Crow on CNN just now describing what it was like in the room. He said he asked other people in the room to remove their pins so as not to be identifiable. There were pictures of some people with bunches of zip ties so they were clearly prepared to take hostages. Then he said something that was utterly chilling:
