If this is accurate, it just emphasises what a poor future this country has under the rule of someone who is oblivious to his own insulting manner.
It seems, to me, as if he was trying to bully VDL, but to slur France was stupid beyond all belief.

Well, he's mostly rushing through those executions because Joe Biden has indicated that he intends to do away with the federal death penalty (the president has no say over state-level death penalty use), so they want to kill these prisoners while they can. Which is honestly worse than just going for the high score: they wouldn't even be on death row in a month.

On the day the USA Covid death toll passes 300,000, you would like to think the most powerful person in the world would have other priorities.

Spite is his primary operating principle, in all things. Liberals think that we should take COVID seriously? Then it's important that we act as unseriously as possible. Joe Biden doesn't want these prisoners to die? Then it's important that he kills them.

Indeed. If he wasn't such a noxious, destructive figure, I'd feel sorry for him. His experiences as a young man, growing up with a sociopath of a father (and a sociopath of a father-figure in his early adult years in Roy Cohn) turned him into an empty husk of a human being, nothing but id and insecurity. If you wrote me a cheque for $5b and told me that the only catch was that I'd have to live inside Donald Trump's head, I'd tear it up without a thought.

It's just an awful shame that people gave him the presidency and not, y'know, therapy.

A good war is just what we need to take people’s minds off things. And please note, I am not using blue ink. Having vilified every EU nation incessantly for the last 4 or 5 years, it’s the logical next step. Good for business too!

Oh dear does that mean I'll be interned by Dutch security for the duration? What about Bert and Fred in the Red Lion Benidorm will they still be able to read the Mail and Express over their full English?

With Biden being pro EU, will we now see Johnson try to cosy up to Putin, after having isolated the country from the USA and the EU?
He has more than a few Russian friends and there is plenty of black Russian money invested in London property.
It strikes me as the hamfisted, **** you type of thing an idiot would do, as he petulantly stamps his feet and blames everyone else for his mistakes.
