St Jabbo

I think that Sajid Javid is waiting his time. Lucky for him that he jumped ship when he did but, taking a broader point of view, I can see the Conservatives eventually taking a more centralist position that Cameron sought. I would not be surprised to see Rory Stewart back in the fold at some point. For the time being, I think that things will get much worse for the Tories in the short term. The press have got their teeth in to Boris and I do not believe that they will let go until they have had their blood. There will be a point within the next few weeks where you will see back bench Tories starting to distance themselves from Boris as they sense losing their seats. Without doubt, Starmer is going to get elected with the kind of majority Blair enjoyed in 1997. The one bright hope with Boris is that he is so bad that I think people will be put off voting for the Conservatives for some time afterwards. He has the viciousness of Margaret Thatcher combined with the ability of Norman Wisdom.

I hope you are right with your prediction of Starmer being elected.
Even the dumbest of voters can surely see that they have only survived thus far, financially, because the government fell back on Socialist principles.

Press need to focus on hammering Johnson, nothing more nothing less. Cummings will be gone this week, then it is time to bring out the "biggest and sharpest" of knives.

Dominic Scummings to make a statement later. If it doesn't include the words "sorry" and "resign" then he can take his statement and shove it up his arse.

Tom. Give the bloke a chance. I’m pretty damn sure it will include both those words.

“Dear Peasants

I’m really not sorry about what I did and I have no intention to resign. Go fnck yourselves.

yours

big bad Dom “

I have a theory, as yet unproven, that Johnson was nominated for the leadership of the so-called Tory party, in the event that he would fall on his fat face. Whilst Johnson may not have many friends across the country, he has even less inside the Parliamentary Tory party. There must be many backbenchers rubbing their hands with glee to see his downfall.

How does that happen? Johnson chooses to stick with Cummings, his backbenchers withdraw support for the Immigration Bill and Agricultura Bill until Cummings is gone.
With Cummings gone, Johnson's tenure on Office will be considerably weakened as his backbenchers realise they can use their power to shape future policies.

And with the Telegraph leaning towards the view that the Brexit transition period needs extending, Johnson looks to be a lame duck.

Not so much lame as plucked, gutted, trussed and stuffed, in preparation for the oven, aka The Tory Party Conference

Cummings on the TV now, I can't watch due to damage control by Mrs Jab. Keeping up with BBC news online whilst listening to Craig Charles spinning tunes on music. There'll be plenty of coverage later. I'll get the short highlights.

Don't think he or Spaffer realise the amount of anger in their utter contempt for the public.
But loads of people, apparently, breaking lockdown and police have little chance to contain them. Just what they wanted ..... :emoticon-0121-angry
I just heard that A&E at Weston-super-Mare General Hospital has closed due to the rising number of Covid-19 cases. The example set by Scummings can only make this kind of situation worse and more widespread.

Prepare for the second wave folks.
