A vote for remain is by far the quickest way to end this. Carrying on with Brexit is a guarantee this situation will last for several years after we leave. Even no deal is equivalent to saying, we will come up with a deal after we leave.I totally agree with your view that there are more leavers than many on here think. It’s easy to assume from a limited sample such as this message board what is actually the case. Also the point of old people dying makes it easier for a remain vote to prevail is a fantasy in my view. There is perhaps another group that is growing fast, ‘let’s get this over one way or the other’ group and Johnson right or wrong in anyone’s opinion is making things happen to bring this to a conclusion. Those who beg for a ‘second go’ need to be careful what they wish for as it is by no means certain that a definitive result will come about. Neither is a general election a guarantee of a clear outcome. That’s why I back the current direction as I do not believe any more delay will get us a better outcome.
But I do believe there are people on the middle naive enough to believe the negotiations will end by leaving the EU.

knows what I want my funeral arrangements to be and there is just enough in the Post Office savings account to pay for it. I have bequeathed my season ticket to the most stinking, dirty, scruffy foul mouthed vagrant in the Above Bar that way the people who sit around me at St Mary's will be constantly reminded of me. At the moment I am finding it difficult to find someone willing to read the eulogy at my funeral.
