Arrested? Really? All he did was escort the protester away from the premises. This has blown completely out of proportion.

A big burly bloke grabbing a woman by the throat? I know I’m getting on a bit, and values are changing, but is that considered okay now? And for a government minister?

So we are back to the days of the Rotten Boroughs where a few corrupt Tories in the Shires decide how the country is to be governed and to cap it all they combine it with oafish thuggery.. These really are sorry times. How long before we have the Blackshirts on our streets again?

Well, the "Conservatives" as long ago as the Thatcherite era were promising to bring back Victorian values. The way the future leader and of course the assault on the woman in the video, are possibly evidence of that. Next they will propose to bring back corporal punishment to our schools, and National Service.

Reactions: The Ides of March
A general election now would almost certainly end in a hung parliament. Possibly with Lib Dems gaining considerably more seats. It could end up with no party being nowhere near a majority which would make things even worse than they are now. Which would make a no deal Brexit the most likely scenario.

Yes a hung parliament, with the Lib Dems potentiality being in a position, with similar minded parties to rescind Article 50, something that should be done now.
Brexit should not be considered, in any form, until such a time as we have a Prime Minister who has been elected by the country and not by what appears to be a white supremacist group.
97% of Tory members are white, which is scary, and not representative of our multicultural country.

Err Have I got this wrong.........The lady was a peaceful demonstrator who infiltrated the meeting or whatever. Now she is I grant you roughly treated a bit but escorted out. He is now being sued for assault?? My question would be if that had been a security guy would he be sued for assault. Sorry this saga is not making much sense to me. It doesn't matter that it is a tory meeting it could just as easily been any particular meeting including Farage and co. Sorry can't go along with this..........
