The BBC Trust have admitted that their political editor Laura Kuenssberg created fake news when she misrepresented Jeremy Corbyn's position on shoot-to-kill.
The BBC Trust ruling concluded that Kuenssberg's report was "not duly accurate" because it presented "an answer Mr Corbyn had given to a question about shoot-to-kill as though it were his answer to a question he had not in fact been asked".
The original complaint against Kuenssberg alleged that her sneaky decision to splice a clip of Jeremy Corbyn talking about shoot-to-kill with a question he wasn't even asked was designed to cause "maximum political damage".

Backing the Tories would "strengthen my hand" in Brexit negotiations and be a vote for a "stronger Wales", she added. Really?? As the more enlightened ones on here know, Madame May is talking absolute rot. The EU is going to negotiate what is best for the EU, not what is best for the UK, but the UK media are pretending this is going to strengthen her negotiating position. Ha! Ha!!

Journalists investigating the abuse of gay men in Chechnya have made a gruesome discovery.
Respected newspaper Novaya Gazeta originally reported that gay men were being held in two concentration camp style prisons in the region.
Reports initially centred on two jails in the villages of Argun and Tsotsi-Yurt.
However journalists from the area now say they have uncovered evidence of a further four prisons, meaning there are at least six prisons in the region holding people because of their sexual orientation.

The newspaper also claims that the men, who face torture in jail, are only released once their families offer bribes to police.
Editors of Russian newspaper have since said they fear that the “entire staff” on the paper are at serious risk after they uncovered the gay purge in Chechnya

These prisons were entirely unknown? Bloody hell.

You have to look back further than that. Time didn't start in 2010:

There are many more. As usual someone looking for a story makes 2+2=5 because 5 is the number they want it to equal.

We are always hearing MPs and commentariat warbling on about looking at the way other countries and learning how they do education or drugs policy etc. It is quite normal to look at other "models" when trying to sort out your own's problems yet with this one being the NHS it is all about reform!!.

Funny how no-one seemed bothered when it was in TTIP! Something that Cameron and Blair supported yet no-one was listening then.

To be fair to the Tories, they have consistently said that debt would increase before it is reduced. Which makes that MP even more of an idiot and that article complete bull for calling it a secret.

I believe it's the same thing our club have said about our finances/debt so I tend to trust them on that.

But I've always found it pathetic that they would rather score cheap points by attacking eachother than trying to actually understand each others policies(or in this case, their own). But I guess that's what wins you an election.

To be fair to the actual truth, the Tories at no point ever said that the debt would triple without any sign of it even beginning to come down. The plan was to reduce the debt to nothing by 2018 I believe, and that's gone really well hasn't it? They have never admitted this is the case either, and it's to Labour's everlasting shame that they aren't in the government's face every minute of every day reminding them how they have betrayed the people who voted them in.
