Interesting, but you’re talking to mainly British people on this forum, and I think it’s fair to say we don’t see much of that kind of thing in this country. You must log in or register to see media

I'm talking about news presented by the government to the BBC to present to us. - being the governments mouthpiece. It's not a case of the BBC believing one way or the other. Their duty is to report whether you like the news or not. That way, you know at least whether the government is trying to pull a fast one or not. I've lived overseas. The BBC is something other countries' populations wish they could have. In the past, when the political opposition has been as weak as ****, the BBC has effectively stood in where the opposition wouldn't or couldn't. The thing is, it's always been in the UK, and we take it for granted. And I do too, except when I look at news from the States or elsewhere, like Australia. Oh boy, can that be a lopsided comedy. Sometimes you wonder if they'd recognise the truth if it bit them on the arse. And the heart of it is down to advertising. ITV, etc, have it harder here because they have the BBC as the quality yardstick.
Well they have a duty to report. Sometimes we don't like it. We can't like everything. If they said, like the say in the States, that basically the Government is right, when plainly it was wrong, then we'd have something to properly whinge about.I'm talking about news presented by the government to the BBC to present to us. - being the governments mouthpiece.

How anybody can look at at this picture and not think "what a moronic ****" is beyond me...

OK, that's fine. That's exactly how I see it.I think people are inferring too much into my use of language here. i mean as in how Jeremy Wilson and the Telegraph are often considered Southampton's mouthpiece. Southampton don't control the telegraph, its independent. its just they have a good working relationship so they are first choice to give information to. The government and the bbc have a good working relationship and the government trust the bbc to release it properly, especially due to how transparent the BBC is to the government. The BBC's charter means they have to release it fully and impartially. i didnt mean to start a big thing over this.

I can only assume this is a piss take as most lefts are white, none of the pop, sports, movie stars etc are in the top 1%, Hitler looked nothing like Manuel Neuer and communism kind of turned into fascism and died out about 30 years ago. Where your middle is I have no idea but it's not where my middle is!
It is a Fox News ítem! Need we say any more?[/QUOTE
It's Murdochian bollocks total ****e.
Openly calling out of unpresidential behaviour. Honestly, you have to have a strong stomach to watch some of the behaviour of this US President and his followers. I find it utterly sickening. It literally turns my stomach sometimes. Anyway, this programme explained one of Trump's rallies from today. If you think Trump is decent human being, we ain't going to get along. It's that fundamental:

So you’re basing your whole argument that the left hate white people on a single Fox News load of sensationalist nonsense?only a matter of time
There may - if we’re being generous- have been some ambiguity about Trump when he first came to power. But he has now exposed himself for exactly what he is. Anyone who doesn’t see it doesn’t want to see it. The man is a disgrace to the Office of President, and a source of shame for his country.
Let’s not get on our high horses here though. We are about to install Boris Johnson as PM. A better educated Trump as far as I can see, and a man equally lacking in integrity or principle.
