Interesting to see that despite the “love” for Farage and the Reform UK Party a YouGov poll shows that Farage is the 4th most popular party leader to be PM.

I think Channel Four have consistently exposed Nigel Farago's lies and have done so in a forensic manner. They have been carrying investigations that i feel should have prompted criminal investigations or atleast been subject to unvestigations by the electorial commission. The BBC has never been as thorough.
Farage may be riding the crest of a wave but the next election is Labour's to lose. For my money, Reform will destroy the Tories but will have little impact on the overall result. I also am convinced that someone will bring him down before the next election. The one good thing about Reform is that they will ensure Labour are in power for pertuity.
They are popular now but the press are building up Reform to bring them down
I had never heard of them until 2 years ago. When i was yoing and easily influenced, that kind of mid Atlantic accent would never have been taken seriously.
Shame that the press holds them notable enough to report about. Same with Yexley-Lennon.

I see Trump has suffered a reversal in the courts overnight regarding the implimentation of his tariffs. There is an appeal pending but it does feel like the firat significant challenge to him.
At the same time, several press outlets are reporting Republican concern about Trump's performance and cognative abilities especially regarding the inability to deal with Putin.
Am i sensing the first moves to curtail Trump by people other than Democrats ?

The federal court's three-judge panel said in its summary judgment: "The question in the two cases before the court is whether the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 ('IEEPA') delegates these powers to the President in the form of authority to impose unlimited tariffs on goods from nearly every country in the world."

This the good bit re the "unelected judges", it applies to many of them in particular the Supreme Court.
"One of the judges on the panel is a Trump appointee. The other two were appointed by President Ronald Reagan and President Barack Obama."

The problem in this country is that you only need to be popular with 30-35% of the electorate to be in with a chance of full power over 100% of the population for 5 years.
FPTP needs to go.
I dont think it is right that Labour have the majority they have on 33% of the vote either.

With low turnout added to FPTP it means that any gov is guaranteed to have 60% who dislike it
With measures to increase turnout and PR we might get Coalitions but they’d be more likely to have 60% support

The EU spent more on Russian gas than they gave Ukraine in aid last year! Maybe that plane should be a EU one....
I understand that the bloke who drove his cars at spectators in Liveroool over the Bank Holiday was an ex Royal Marine.
I applaud the police for immediately quashing any spectulation concerning a racial or religious motive and that did not stop some idiots from suggesting otherwise. However , i think that there have been instances before where ex-service personnel have gone off the rails before.
