The lunatics are running the asylum. "One of the best known rioters to attack the Capitol on January 6 is Jake Angeli-Chansley, who went in shirtless and wearing horns and furs on his head. He was pardoned by Donald Trump yesterday, and wrote the following on X when he got the news:" "I JUST GOT THE NEWS FROM MY LAWYER... I GOT A PARDON BABY! THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP!!! NOW I AM GONNA BUY SOME MOTHA FU*KIN GUNS!!! I LOVE THIS COUNTRY!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!! J6ers are getting released & JUSTICE HAS COME... EVERYTHING done in the dark WILL come to light!" please log in to view this image
Everyone's so obsessed by Trump and Musk they seem to have missed the release of some of the sausages hostages in Gaza. Not one post celebrating the safe release of a British/Israeli citizen. https://www.spiked-online.com/2025/01/20/her-name-is-emily-damari/

This nazi thing is getting out of control. 11:19 am · 21 Jan 2025 ·
If you actually watch the video, none of those are anything like what Musk did, but whatever makes you happy. As you'll no doubt not have bothered noticing, I did say I didn't think it was done purposefully, but it's not a great look.
Just to give it some context...and so people can make their own minds up. Stills of some people waving are not the same thing, unless you're being deliberately disingenuous, which says something about you.
Ultimately it depends what any of these people may have done. If any serious crimes are discovered and they can't prosecuted that'll be pretty awful.
crossed swords with you before IOAG but that's impressive joshing, So well done it's a "like" from me.
crossed swords with you before IOAG but that's impressive joshing, So well done it's a "like" from me.
If I remember correctly, you're ex services aren't you? Then you have my highest respect. If we've crossed swords milton, it's not personal, I like to involve everyone in our friendly chats. I'm still waiting for my "like" btw. PS I think you may have included part of a previous comment in with your post to me.
I did read what you said in the post I quoted and I've already seen the video clip. It wasn't a direct response to you personally but because you brought the subject up, it seemed like the best place to put a reply. But I don't know why you think I may be disingenuous, I genuinely thought that Alan Shearer and the Dalai Lama were Nazis. You're right, that may say something about me but I've never forgiven him for ****ing off to Blackburn. Shearer that is, as we all know the Dalai went to Liverpool. The post was to ridicule the almost hysterical comments from people who thought Musk had (deliberately or accidentally) shown his fascist beliefs to the world. Whether they actually believe that or not is irrelevant, if Musk could be further discredited it would be well worth it. You know how it works and you should also be able to see that by including the Dalai Lama that it was mocking them. Shearer though I'm not so sure about. It's a well known fact that Howaythelads is geordie for sieg heil.
If I remember correctly, you're ex services aren't you? Then you have my highest respect. If we've crossed swords milton, it's not personal, I like to involve everyone in our friendly chats. I'm still waiting for my "like" btw. Yes mate, ex RAF, only one medal though, First in the NAAFI queue three days running.
Fair enough mate - sorry if being slightly oversensitive. Yes, there's hysterical reaction to it (which I don't agree with, as stated) and there's also been equally daft support/mental gymnastics excusing it. It was an absolutely idiotic thing to do, aspergers/autism or not. As I've said, he's one of many clever-stupid people around, and that misstep (which is what I think it is - but it's a massive misstep, which even the most basic of brains would understand) flies a bit in the face of 'common sense government' on day 1.
Blimey God bless Merca. Hot damn. Is this real life or am I in a movie? Genuinely don’t know at this point
It’s easy to do tho. I was working in Germany 25 years ago & arrived on site one morning after being there for a week or so. The German department boss was at the other end of a 30m conveyorised line; I saw him & said “hi” with a straight arm. Didn’t think anything of it. Dr Stephan slowly wandered up, a really large, imposing guy & said, “Gary, in Germany we don’t do that”. I was mortified.
https://www.thedailybeast.com/bishop-who-confronted-trump-has-another-message-for-him/ "The Episcopal bishop who delivered a Tuesday sermon that got under Donald Trump’s skin delivered yet another message to the president hours before Trump demanded she apologize." "And when asked to respond to Trump’s reaction, Budde agreed with Burnett in that it was “muted.” “It was a respectful response. He didn’t like it. He said so. He said we could do better. Some of the other comments I’ve received haven't been as kind or as muted, shall we say.” "Two such examples were Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville, who suggested that Budde was “spew[ing] hate,” and Georgia Republican Rep. Mike Collins, who called for Budde to be deported." "However, after her appearance on CNN, Trump took to Truth Social with a harsher tone and demanded a public apology." “The so-called Bishop who spoke at the National Prayer Service on Tuesday morning was a Radical Left hard line Trump hater,” Trump wrote. “She brought her church into the World of politics in a very ungracious way. She was nasty in tone, and not compelling or smart.” He went on a tirade about the “giant crime wave” of “illegal immigrants” before adding that, “apart from her inappropriate statements, the service was a very boring and uninspiring one. She is not very good at her job! She and her church owe the public an apology!” ****ing septic Trumpian arseholes think they have god on their side.
It would be somewhat ironic if his hotels and resorts were found to be staffed with a number of undocumented immigrants.
I remember reading about that in the Guardian under the headline "ENGLISH, FAR RIGHT WING, FOOTBALL FAN, EXTREMEIST, GIVES NAZI SALUTE TO GERMAN DOCTOR". Then it went on to say how the man, Gary Hitler, a shaven headed multi tattooed conveyor line worker from Southampton, tried to excuse this obviously subliminal fascist gesture as a "good morning" greeting and uses it all the time when back in the UK. He insisted that he accompanied the salute with the word Hi and not Heil as suggested by witnesses. He was reported to be mortified that they heard him. The BBC, desperate to confirm that Mr Hitler was indeed a fascist searched around until they finally found someone in New York to back them up. Ruth Ben-Ghiat, a history professor at New York University, said: "Historian of fascism here. It was a Nazi salute and a very belligerent one too."
Feels like they might have a bit of a shock when they encounter St Peter and the wrong staircase opens.
