Looks like Big Mike was feeling so threatened he got his self defence in early. Not so much a left winger more of a left hooker. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...man-threatened-him.html#v-2492362015254755552 This is Mike commenting on the sentences given to the rioters This one's a cracker. Mike talking at a debate for the protection of retail workers. please log in to view this image Mike Amesbury - Hansard - Excerpts I concur wholeheartedly. Anyone who is assaulted deserves to be protected by the law, but it is clear that retail workers face a particular threat. What is more, despite ample evidence, some cases are not being prosecuted, as rightly pointed out by USDAW, even when there is clear video footage of an assault. A lack of sentencing leads to a lack of reporting, which leads to even fewer prosecutions. USDAW found that 17% of attacks are never even reported to the police.
Just watched the video of Mike Amesbury punching someone. That is pretty damming, even punches him when on the floor. I can see this definitely going to court and a prison sentence.
The brainwashed cult on here continues. if a Tory MP had done the same thing, you would all be completely outraged. Yet it’s a labour MP so the guy deserved it.. Unbelievable
There are one or two comments like this but I think most people, like me, are waiting until the whole picture emerges before passing comment. The video does look damning, but the police haven't even charged him yet so I'm going to wait and see. And this is from a historical Tory voter.
Jeremy Hunt trying desperately to discredit the absolute fact of his government’s financial mismanagement of the country. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cgr00vewpxno
Still waiting for you to show me the comment where someone said the guy deserved to get hit. I know you wouldn't make anything up, so just want to see it so I can shake my head disapprovingly.
Haven’t Volkswagen been struggling since they were caught faking test results to get round US tariffs? Hardly woke leadership, more like conniving turbo capitalism coming unstuck
One of the many reasons. But I think it shows a larger problem of European bureaucrats undervaluing manufacturing and the efforts involved. Europe is on a very steep decline and I don’t see any way it improves without radical changes in leadership. They are openly hostile to manufacturing and engineering because of their wet dreams of Net Zero. It is doing untold damage
These plans, first aired early September https://www.reuters.com/business/au...s-possible-plant-closures-germany-2024-09-02/ , resurfaced today as a statement is forthcoming. "Workers' representatives will update VW staff at all 10 German plants about management's latest savings proposals at 1000 GMT, with many bracing for news of thousands of job cuts." https://finance.yahoo.com/news/crisis-hit-vw-eyeing-plant-100503018.html. FYI https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disclose.tv "Disclose.tv is a disinformation outlet[8] based in Germany that presents itself as a news aggregator.[2][6] It is known for promoting conspiracy theories[13] and fake news,[19] including COVID-19 misinformation[3][2][6] and anti-vaccine narratives.[22] The website was created in 2007 as a conspiracy forum focused around content such as UFOs and paranormal phenomena. In 2021, it rebranded itself as a news aggregator on its social media platforms and website. Disclose.tv pushes far-right content, conspiracy theories and misleading information together with real news taken from other sources frequently without attribution, and platforms hate speech, including Holocaust denial and neo-Nazism, on its message groups. https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/disclose-tv/ Overall, we rate Disclose TV Right Biased and questionable based on the use of poor sources, a lack of transparency, failed fact checks, and though improved, a long history of promoting conspiracy theories and pseudoscience.
Yes, Germany. The nation that famously undervalues its manufacturing and engineering sectors. Germany’s recent economic struggles are nothing to do with green energy. If you actually care at all beyond your weird right-wing soundbites, here is quite a good summary from the IMF. https://www.imf.org/en/News/Article...e-aging-underinvestment-and-too-much-red-tape You will be particularly pleased to note that one of the things which has helped Germany over the last ten years is immigration, by the way.
Up to $41 billion in World Bank climate finance is unaccounted for: That is nearly 40% of all climate funds disbursed by the bank over the past 7 years, Oxfam says. I imagine the numbers are similar with the EU’s net zero budget. Entire thing is a scam. They laugh at you for believing this stuff from their private jets. Yes, they have undervalued manufacturing and engineering. There is a huge decline. The recent closure of their nuclear power plants shows this. Fundamentally their politicians take for granted their manufacturing abilities and don’t have any idea how to turn the decline around.
Meine Oma betrieb bis zu ihrer Pensionierung eine Fabrik. Die Industrie ist das Herzstück der deutschen Lebensart.
