I will, once you send over the list of everyone who was sentenced with the attributed quotes about burning to death. Or, in literally terms, freedom of speech is precious - think that is pretty much all I said. Anyhow - all this bollocks reminds me of why I didn’t bother on here for months (cue the usual suspects saying the place was better for it etc.).
Can we stop with the petty arguments please. It started off as people putting their points across and now it's descended into pointless bitching with no purpose served other than to wind each other up.
It seems a little weird to me that you are worried about something you know nothing about and expect me to give you the answers.
But nobody HAS to go to university. Some people don't go. Anyone who does go is buying an advantage. So presumably they should be taxed.
A local musician who goes by the name of John D Revelator, has a great idea for resolving the conundrum of a country in which there are 171 resident billionaires, and more than 3,500 food banks. His song “One Billionaire” (he hasn’t recorded it yet, sadly) contains the line “We only have to eat one billionaire and the rest would pay their tax”.
Can people be reminded then that is isnt the right approach telling people to get back in their holes. I’ve not been rude Tom, so I hope I am not included in this. I haven’t tried to wind Loading up, I suggested he was getting wound up, of sorts, and have provided logical responses. But in typical Loading fashion, he doesn’t really listen to the points, as he is so fixated on his position being right. And Tom, you think it was necessary telling me to get into my little hole? No need for that, was there.
In the past, may be in some places today, it meant paying exorbitant fees to have your children buggered and bullied relentlessly. It made men of them, supposedly.
Billy calls me clueless, asks me if I am too hot, says wtf am I talking about and then tells me quite threateningly: wind your neck in. Also Billy: I am only ever polite!
Both yourself and Loading have started to squabble rather than debate. He told you to get into your little hole. You told him to wind his neck in. I'm telling both of you to debate like grown ups. If you can't do that use the ignore function. Either way, I'm nipping it in the bud before it gets out of hand.
You really are not polite. But in the interests of only ever pandering to the left. I will leave it there.
I didn't squabble, I told of a heartfelt situation about not all private school parents are elite and butt rich, with the things we have done to get our children there. Is that not trying to debate like a grown up then Tom? I do appreciate the role you and other Mods do on here and you could well do without the hassle, but not always both sides are to blame. And I will react if provoked, and the little hole comment was unnecessary and pointless. The strange thing is if Loading and I were in the pub, I dont believe he would have the same view about me/my children going to private school. Guess for me that is frustrating. I also suggested if Loading had children, I personally wouldn't want his children's schools overrun. How is that squabbling - I thought it was quite sincere and nice. But happy to leave it there. One last thing - So Loading - Im happy to buy you a pint before one of the games if you are interested...
It probably is the heat, to be honest! Apologies for being rude. I do try not to be. And the first drink is on me as I don’t have that tax to worry about! (You probably have two years before it hits)
I agree. His comment was unnecessary. As was yours when you told him to wind his neck in. I was intervening before things got out of control. Anyway it all seems to have calmed down so I'll leave it there.
