Two tier policing I think you've got something there besides the hysterical bleatings of UKippers and the far right. Three years for violent disorder and assaulting a police officer vs five years five years for plotting to block the M25. You've nailed it Os take a bow.
This knee? It's not with the rioters but as the funeral of George Floyd was being held in Houston, Texas. Well done Keir and Angela, support against racism and inequality as many others did at that time whist condemning violence and looting.

It absolutely can and it was by many millions at the time.

Why was he willing to bend the knee for a criminal?

I think probably because it’s the radical Islamists that are causing the most issues. I would argue that many people are against the extremists within the Islamic community rather than racist. Calling everyone racist massively ignores the underlying issues.

Did you see Stacey Dooley’s documentary a few years ago showing the vast amount of people in Luton that want to turn England into a sharia country?

They are gaining more and more power in the Uk and people have been concerned about it for a long time, with no action being taken.

When people see ISIS flags on their streets, people chanting from the river to the sea etc. it’s very difficult to stomach. Especially when you are being told that there is no such problem, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

And if you don’t believe these issues are real… watch her documentary. It’s probably still on iPlayer or YouTube.

It can't and it wasn't by the vast majority.
Starmer is listening by getting these right wing thugs to face justice swiftly is exactly what people want.

I can only think of three types of illegal immigrant, off the top of my head.
Someone who has entered the country legally but has stayed longer than their visa allows.
Someone who has knowingly come into the country via an illegal means and not claimed asylum.
Someone who has entered the country, legally or illegally, and has claimed asylum but had it denied.
There might be a fourth group, people trafficked for the sex and slave industry, who probably can’t do anything to help themselves.

Those who are undocumented. Did they dispose of their documents to hide a nefarious past or did their need to flee from their home mean that paperwork was left behind, lost, stolen or destroyed? Anyone’s guess.
The use of the words “illegal immigrant” was a deliberate lie by the various Tory governments to alienate asylum seekers and we are now reaping what they sewed.

Every single country in history has a border that it defends. Otherwise there is no stable, safe nation.

To say that the idea of keeping illegal foreigners out is somehow a recent Tory invention is insanity of the highest order

I didn’t say that.
The hatred towards the asylum seekers was driven by the Tory party incorrectly stating that the asylum seekers were illegal immigrants, when they only become illegal immigrants if their asylum claim is denied.
And it’s the hatred and division, created by the Tories and the hard of thinking that has destabilised the UK and turned it into an unsafe environment.

If anyone has missed it, MP Nigel Farage gets his information from Andrew Tate, the sex trafficker. He confirmed this in an interview with LBC, where he was trying to play the victim.

Naive. Look at the data. The massive influx is a cause for concern. Throughout most of our history the numbers were much smaller.
Almost every successful country in the world has more tightly controlled borders than us.

It’s not racist to question this. I agree it’s all the governments fault though. If honest conversations had been had about this in the last 20 years, it wouldn’t have reached boiling point like this.
Starmer is just making things worse with his inflammatory rhetoric.

They are only illegal if their claims are denied and they somehow stay anyway. Or they dodge the system and don’t apply in the first place. But the idea that this is common seems far fetched
