Just seen a very interesting thread about it Lavrov’s family all living in central London. Officially unemployed, bought a 4.4mn central London flat with cash.

Do we sanction them as well?

 

Presumably it follows that you can only be a billionaire oligarch with assets in the UK. if the British government allows you to be. Which raises a few questions about how far that dirty money has reached up to now.

They’ve been a puppet to Russia for a long time though. I’m not sure they really had much semblance of sovereignty as it is

 

There have been some rocky moments in their relationship over the past couple decades. Now though I suspect it's only a matter of a few years before they go from puppet to Oblast.
