Klopp was asked, during a press conference just before lockdown, for his opinion on the Coronavirus. He looked at the assembled members of the press with something very close to disdain, and replied, “I am a football manager. Why are you asking me?” Which May just be the most sensible statement anyone has ever given to the press on the subject of COVID-19

Big respect for him for that answer. If a few more "celebrities" and "media pundits" (as they like to call themselves) would keep their opinions to themselves and let the public listen to experts who know what they're talking about, the world would be a better place ..................

Added over a million votes (in fact more votes than the SNP got in total for 48 seats) and lost a seat.

British ‘democracy’ ladies and gents.

More Brits voted for parties offering at least a second ref or revoke than Brexit, yet the election result was interpreted as ‘The British people want Brexit now’.

Again ‘democracy’.

That’s why I suggest the Lib Dem’s and Labour need to be more intelligent when it comes to playing the game. Our elections are more like a team sport with ‘seats’ acting like ‘goals’. It shouldn’t be that way, but they need to work in those parameters for now, or they will never get the chance to change it.

Dido Harding absolutely epitomises the current system in Britain that privilege and position is supreme over talent or experience. She was raised on a pig farm though, which must have given her a good insight into the workings of the Tory Party. And she’s had a glittering career managing companies in industries she knows nothing about: her time as CEO of TalkTalk was summed up by Marketing magazine‘s headline : “TalkTalk boss Dido Harding's utter ignorance is a lesson to us all”.
Her current lofty position may have something to do with the fact that since being elevated to the Lords in 2017 she has not rebelled once against the Tory line.

Mainly places at Oxford and Cambridge I believe, as other universities are offering extra places now. It’s a pretty blatant way of keeping elite places for the elite.

This Government said children needed to be returned to school as being away from school was doing them psychological harm, Then over the last a couple of days the Government has managed to inflict far, far greater psychological harm on our children than they could have possibly experienced in the last 5 months.

Johnson and his cronies must not stay in power a day longer. The bone idle, incompetent, always missing, lazy bastard of a buffoon couldn't run a tap.

Speaking of Pfeffel, where is the idle bar steward? Hopefully having a breakdown somewhere and contemplating the pearl handled revolver. Who will rid us of this turbulent t*at?

Oh that's not fair, he did turn up a couple of days ago to reassure us that Williamson should retain his position and the grading process was robust.........

The Conservatives will oust him for Sunak at some point before the next election anyway to give them that shiny veneer of some form of competence like Cameron used to (even if it will be an extremely thin coating of gloss on the turd), whilst ensuring that another Cummings puppet runs the show.
