Really???? This government is getting beyond embarrassing now.
Now it is a free for all and we can all do just what we like I think I shall organise a BBQ and family get together in my back garden for next weekend. I 'phoned my cousins and they are all driving down from Maidenhead with their children. Should be a great day.
This afternoon's Downing Street briefing should be interesting. It will probably have a record number of viewers, all wanting to see how the government gets out of this one.
I have to avoid social media for the rest of the day as there are idiots on there who believe he hasn’t done anything wrong?
And that remoaners are making a big deal out of it because he drove Brexit through?
The stupidity of this nation is getting beyond a joke.
You obviously missed the small print (written in invisible ink, but let's not split hairs), within the guidelines, that clearly state:
It's OK to ignore any/all guidelines, if you have more than a passing resemblance to Stewie from 'Family Guy'.
Problem is Tom, that because the government won’t do anything about it, people will now think it’s ok to do what they want, lockdown is over now.
Then in a couple of weeks time watch the infections rate rise.......back to square 1.
I am practically angry with what he will get away with as I would love to go and see my mum, she lives on her own 100 miles away from us(not seen her since Xmas), but no we won’t because we are abiding by the rules.

Breaking News: A Downing Street spokesman explains that 'Yes' and 'No' are interchangeable, and anything is allowable, unless it isn't.
No 10 says the PM's chief aide Dominic Cummings acted in line with coronavirus guidelines when he travelled with Covid-19 symptoms from London to his relatives in Durham during lockdown.
A spokesman said it was "essential" for Mr Cummings to ensure he had childcare while he and his wife were unwell.
The Durham police chief said it was "unwise" for Mr Cummings to travel to County Durham while infected.
Labour has called for a "clear explanation" for Mr Cummings' actions.
Downing Street said Mr Cummings believed he "behaved reasonably and legally" when he made the 260-mile journey from his London home to Country Durham during the lockdown.
A No 10 spokesman added: "Owing to his wife being infected with suspected coronavirus and the high likelihood that he would himself become unwell, it was essential for Dominic Cummings to ensure his young child could be properly cared for.
"His sister and nieces had volunteered to help so he went to a house near to, but separate, from his extended family in case their help was needed. His sister shopped for the family and left everything outside.
"At no stage was he or his family spoken to by the police about this matter, as is being reported."
Police said they attended a property in County Durham, after the Guardian and the Daily Mirrornewspapers first reported Mr Cummings had made the trip.
A Labour spokesman said the government should use the daily Downing Street Covid-19 press conference on Saturday to provide answers over the reports.
A statement added: "The public have made extraordinary sacrifices during this pandemic and the lockdown.
"It cannot be one rule for those who set them and another for the British people."

What I find interesting, is how something that happened in March remained under wraps and didn’t become public until a few hours after Parliament had closed down for 2 weeks.
It’s almost as if they were deliberately trying to avoid being questioned on it, at PMQT.
Cummings actions will have no bearing at all on when I eventually go to Southampton to see my mum. I’ll weigh everything up and do what I think is right. The difference between him and me is, I won’t be telling everyone else what to do (through the medium of a compliant PM), then doing the opposite.

St Badger, I agree with your opinion, about the timing of this information. However, I am sure that Keir Starmer has a very long, and very comprehensively detailed, memory, and will politely remind Boris the flounderer of this indiscretion, then invite him to explain why rules/guidelines appear to be irrelevant, when it comes to government advisers. I'll get the popcorn.
The only thing this government is good at is avoiding blame and accountability. The spaff their way through it as usual, dodging (and being allowed to dodge) answering fully for their actions. I don`t know anymore who I loathe most - this slimey government, or those that voted them in - again. That includes my wife`s sisters and their husbands.
But by the time he gets to ask that question the Tories will have packed their benches with their baying MPs.
Unfortunately, no PMQ’s next Wednesday as it’s the half-term recess, the poor dears.
Beats me why they need a recess when most of them aren’t there anyway!
