All I can say is that anyone with a child, a grandchild or a loved one, look at this image. I am not saying the NHS was necessarily not broken before the Tories came in, but this is the result of 9 years of Tory rule and inability to fix it. I am of an age to benefit from the NHS, and if you are too young to have a kid, imagine this is one of your siblings or parents on the cold floor of a supposedly 'safe haven' I agree, that sometimes '**** happens', but this is a theme unfortunately in the NHS at the moment, and the total contempt shown by the current Prime Minister just shows how out of touch he is. Remember, I have never in 50 years (well 32 years of being able to vote), voted anything other than Conservative. That definitely isn't happening now.
Surely though the reporter new that something similar would happen. He was after a headline and got one. However I cannot believe why the Leeds hospital allowed this to happen. That is really imo where your wrath should be going.
If this is true, I hope they get out and use their vote wisely. Weather forecast isn’t good for Thursday, but millions of Tory votes will already be in the bag, courtesy of the postal voting system.
Surely if Boris was better prepared, it was in the front page of the Mirror... The journalist was just doing his job rather better than Boris..
Sorry mate, my wrath is quite clear where it needs to go; straight toward the government who have done this to our NHS
The child was in a bed, which was then needed for someone who was even more ill. There were no more beds. Once again, you sound just like a Tory politician, and it’s getting a bit boring. The reason there were no more beds is, I remind you, NEARLY 10 YEARS OF TORY CUTS.
Boris takes 25 minute private flight from Doncaster to Darlington. To be fair it was probably cheaper than the train https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...v9AiEx0hmDI9AtJSownDb5GzR7zAcccG4ySyV5HLH4fm0
Jeremy Corbyn really is a very likeable down to earth guy. I would have him as Prime Minister in a heart beat. Thanks for posting that.
But more polluting. It's a crime that it would be cheaper, but I'm confident you are right that it was. The price of public transport, particularly railways, in the UK is astonishingly high. In Europe it is at least HALF THE PRICE. France being the next most expensive, although they have a cracking good network. Much of Europe has been largely electric since the 1930s. The price of train journeys in the UK are as they are for one reason. Excessive profit. In Europe they are state backed or owned. Why do we have to have this obsolete why of thinking in the UK that everything has to make a profit for a few shareholders? It's Victorian era thinking. This is the f**king 21st century.
No Beds not for a moment should anyone's anger be directed at a hospital part of a cash starved NHS. Johnson's callous behaviour rightfully called out and publicized. Shallow as a puddle of a homeless person's piss.
First Johnson came for the Supreme Court, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a lawyer. Then he came for Channel Four, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a TV Producer. Then Johnson came for the BBC, and I did not speak out— Because I was stupid. Then he came for me—and no one gave a ****. The selfish bastards. Do not dare to speak out against Johnson and these new ultra right Tories.
Cant argue that free market capitalism has benefitted us and the world immensely. But you are correct, a healthy dose of socialism is needed to sort out public services and get this nation caring about each other once again. It's a disgrace that the few benefit so much from running such ****e services.
mate surely they would have had a trolley or even a small table rather than the floor.........I just find it hard to believe the whole thing wasn’t staged. I’m sorry we can’t agree perhaps I have a more suspicious mind.
Have you not been in A&E lately? I took my son with a footballing injury and it was filled to the rafters with injured humanity and barely any staff to deal with it all. The very grumpy nurse who dealt with us had clearly had enough. The shock here is not that the kid was on the floor but that anyone is surprised the kid was on the floor. The NHS is at breaking point. It takes a month to get a bloody doctor's appointment at my doctors, so no wonder A&E is filling up, too.
