If we widen the gap between working and not working eg. Higher minimum wage/tax credits then there will be less of a case.

mtg supply and demand .. back in the 70's we used £sd and cwt stones lbs and feet and inch's ( overnite) commercially and domestically we converted to kilo's and £p commercially to metres
I know the job I was in went to metres and kilo's
we now have commercial trucks doing kilometres and domestic veh's miles but fuel is in gallons .. work out why lgv's do max of 56 mph ...!
if we want to buy a carpet from a Italian we would buy metres likewise if we sold it to them we would sell in metres
buy wine from France buy in bottles or litres sell in the same MAKES NO DIFFERENCE IF IN OR OUT ....

Having 7 SI Base units and measuring everything relative to them definitely helps

As others have said, we have our own issues with those Brits who simply don't want to work and who over generations have come up with ways to ensure they don't need to. They'd rather scrounge of the state, or those of us who do our bit.

But at the end of the day, I'd rather support British scroungers than Afghan or Romanian ones.....

Being in the EU has its advantages and disadvantages, its really a question of what weight you choose to give to each aspect. I am in my forties and believe on balance we are better off in. At the end of the day most elections are decided on economic grounds i.e. how well off do people feel. Nearly half of our overseas assets are held in the EU whilst half of in UK foreign owned assets are held by EU countries. Given the recent improvement in the economy and falling unemployment I believe withdrawal from the EU would jeopardise this healthy economic picture. Everything else is white noise to me. Others may choose to disagree with me, so be it.

'At the end of the day most elections are decided on economic grounds'

    Not for me.
Uncontrolled borders is a big issue for me - it affects everything.
The pressures on schools, NHS, and roads will increase every year.
Supply and demand means our children will find it even more difficult to buy their own houses.
And who voted for uncontrolled borders.

The other issue for me is I can't abide being told by others what happens/laws in my country.
Sorry, I know we have plenty of idiot MPs but they're our idiots.
Sod the economic grounds, who do you believe anyway.
Certainly not the same business leaders who told us the world would end if we didn't join the Euro.

I have faith in Great Britain and that's why I'll vote to leave.

I vote out, now takes a month to get an appointment at the doctors. Why, because half of Poland and
god know what other nationalities are sat in the waiting room. Sure I saw an elephant parked in the car park.

With as many UK workers working in the EU (and using their Health systems) as there are EU workers in the UK why is is not 50/50. Yes there are believed to be a million illegal immigrants in the UK but how do they get access to benefits hospitals etc?. The map tells us we are in a privileged position when it comes to illegal immigration i.e. we are the longest distance away from Syria/Africa and an island. You want control but how do you achieve it? Laws don't stop desperate people especially with an uncontrollable coast line. I respect your opinion but there are many countries far worse off than us.
Well my surgery always has a ring before 8am for today's emergency appointments and I can have a choice of appointments online for 2 weeks in advance. But I accept all practices are not the same

Problem is even when illegals are identified it takes years to send them home. Most disappear before being sent home. My nephews girlfriend is
Australian and has to go home because they wont extend her work visa and yet other nationalities appear to be able to stay as long as it suits them.
The services in this country (particularly NHS) are at breaking point because of immigration. Its about time we charged these people to use them.
Voting to stay in the EU means its impossible to stop free movement into this country.
