You have obviously now accepted that your parliament has a large number of extremists as MP's. Our system prevents that happening.

The next election will be dominated again by the two main parties. Alternatives like the Lib Dems and the new anti Brexit bunch will again be treated as fringe protest groups to be ignored.

The European elections will see a further surge for eurosceptic MEPs. Macron's centralist vision is not shared by many in Europe.

It appears that you know next to nothing about German politics SH. All parties which stand for election, or which sit in the Bundestag have signed up to abide by the German Constitution - this includes the AfD. Any party which does not recognize, or abide by, the Constitution would not be allowed to take part in elections. It is as simple as that. There are, of course, some oddballs in the AfD just as there are in the Conservative Party - but if their official manifesto deviated from the existing legal structures of the land then they would become illegal just as the NPD has become and the KPD was in the past.

The Nazis in the AfD are hardly likely to openly spout their views, you are incredibly naive.

Might I suggest that your superior knowledge of what is happening in Europe makes you look rather silly. You have admitted that you have little French, and I guess even less German, so you must rely on English newspapers or the internet to tell you what is going on. Judging by your preferred reading your comments are pretty worthless when it comes down to anything outside of your small country.

Maybe just as people talk about the Maybot for her one dimensional, rigid, dogmatic rhetoric..we should call you the Hornbot as you continue to spout the same with no place for any meaningful dialogue?

Much better than relying on news and dodging far right supporters down at the bread shop. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I think that you would be well advised to actually quote examples before making accusations of this type. Otherwise you just show up your ignorance more and more with every syllable. You obviously know very little about the actual ideology of the original Nazis, and still less about modern Germany. I suggest you expand your reading away from the comics you read and, as Frenchie said, step out of your little World and look around a little.

You may not be willing to admit Nazis are in your parliament but many others are concerned.

My family has a Nazi past. I see that ideology returning across Europe ...https://www.theguardian.com/.../family-nazi-past-ideology-europe-germany-fascism-far-...

As far as I can see there is a group of 300 activists in the photo you have produced - drawn apparently from Germany, Austria, Italy and France. Organized by Pegida, not by the AfD. There appears to be also a Russian connection (ref. the woman singing German and Russian patriotic songs) - hardly a 'Nazi' connection if you know anything about history whatsoever. Of course when something like this happens in Germany then the British press will make a big thing of it - but the truth of the matter is 'Where do you feel safe' - there are far more attacks on immigrants in the UK. than in Germany, and these have increased tenfold since the referendum.

I thought you liked articles from the Guardian? The main gist of the article is how quickly the AfD is gaining support and influence in your parliament, very dodgy.

Just to get things straight about the AfD. They were founded as a centre right conservative party - generally supportive of membership of the EU. but critical of further integration, critical of the Euro and of bailouts within the Eurozone. They also advocated Swiss style direct democracy. The AfD also supports privatization of social programs and state owned enterprises (in direct contrast to the original Nazis). It also wants to end the culture of shame about Germany's past so that 18 year olds of today do not have to permanently hang their heads in shame about what past generations did. They have a platform of climate change scepticism (in direct opposition to the original Nazis) and are for the reinstatement of conscription (generally a left wing idea). In foreign policy they are pro Nato, pro the USA, and generally pro-Israel. They also sit in the European Parliament with the European Conservatives (including your shower). They are the last Party on earth that I would support - but they are not Nazis ! It might do you some good to also note that the second most popular party in Germany today is the Green Party - but then noting a thing like that would not support your preconceived ideas about the place.

Sidestepped the point I was making about the US I see. The point being that orange45 and the gop have genuine, bona fide, anti-Semitic, white supremacist, Nazis in their ranks. I accept Cologne's earlier appraisal of German politics.

I see you have been looking at Wiki for your information. You missed the bit about AfD having parts which are racist, Islamophobic, anti -semitic and xenophobic tendencies linked to far-right movements such as Neo-Nazism.

Nothing gets near the level of anti-semitism currently practiced by the Momentum thugs and leadership in the Labour Party. No wonder Jewish leaders say Corbyn is not fit to be PM. It is about time Scotland Yard investigated the instances of anti-semitic hate crimes by Labour members contained in the recent internal dossier.

I am not wasting time on here defending the AfD SH. The Tory Party also have elements which are Islamophobic and Xenophobic (Interested where you get the anti-semitic bit from when they generally support Israel). By the way, I do not need to look for my information because I am active in German politics. If any AfD politicians have links to real Neo Nazi groups such as the NPD then they are watched by security forces here and, if found guilty of illegal activities or of inciting hatred, would be removed from office and punished by the courts. I have never seen anything in Germany remotely similar to some of the revolting posters used by Ukip prior to the referendum.

Would you stifle all legitimate criticism of Israel through fear of being seen as anti semitic ? Israel is subject to the same criticisms as those which can be levelled at any other country. Stop trying to distract attention from the fact that your party is currently destroying Britain, and dragging us through the gutter in terms of our image in the World.

It is others that criticise members of the Labour Party including many of its own MPs. The police investigation is not about criticism of Israel but identified serious abuse from LP members.
