Right we might be getting somewhere. You disagree with the government reducing police funding. Next question then. Do you disagree with the government reducing funding for rural bus services which stops many elderly people going to the shops or getting to see their doctor?

What continues to amaze me is that you care not On iota for other people and their suffering.. You are Now seeking to smear someone for raising a serious concern... And all the rubbish about France.. Again... You really need to go on a course on empathy.....

I believe the UK government has a duty to try it's hardest to live within its means. Since 2010 there has been a tremendous effort to cut out vast amounts of unnecessary costs and overmanning in the public sector. Whilst being prudent there will always be some negative effects, the alternative is to borrow heavily leaving huge national debts to future generations.

I have personally encountered many examples of unnecessary waste of resources within the NHS.

Civil unrest in France is a topical and important issue for many in the UK. I understand some with property there may wish to try to hide the deeply disturbing scenes on our TV screens from France.

I am trying to take you through a range of policies to see what you believe, not generalised statements. Some negative effects on whom? You, or the elderly person stuck at home because the bus no longer runs.

You are obviously not capable of sensibly discussing UK government fiscal policies. You had better stick to Parish council level, i.e. bus timetables and bin collections.

I do not think SH has any views on all aspects of community... He like many in the right of the Tory party is only interested in the economy and so called free market economics... The homeless ex soldier on the street with mental health problems he leaves for others it seems

I asked you for your opinion on a specific issue. Once again everyone can see that you do not wish to say what you believe.

This is complete nonsense, I know some very selfish socialists and some wonderfully kind Tories. This just highlights a blinkered, lazy and prejudiced attitude amongst some.

I'm sure we could all do more to help the genuine unfortunates in our society. Massively increasing our national debt is not the answer.

You should be campaigning for improvements to the non existent bus service in your rural region or are you leaving the protests to the yellow vests?

Does the spending of 205 Billion renewing Trident come under the catagory of sensible fiscal policy ? What are you views on this ?

Right I think we can all see that you are still trying to avoid answering a perfectly straight forward question. To think that it was only the second one I had.

Education spending was 5.8% of GDP in 2010. By 2020 it will have been reduced to 4%.

Are we to assume that you approve of reducing spending on education?

  14. That is utter bullshit. I don't know what circles you move in but most people I know are far more concerned with what is going on in London, Leeds and Birmingham etc etc than Dijon, Paris or Toulouse. But you knew that anyway.

  15. Where did you get 205 Billion from? I only vote for parties that promise to scrap trident but I haven't seen that one. If you have proper evidence and stats for that I'd love to see it as that makes my arguments way easier. I thought it was around 10bn a year. And if you come back with 39 billion or 350million a week you're going on ignore :)

People are dying and being maimed during the civil unrest in France. My French contacts are most concerned where their country is heading.
Try not to be rude in your posts.

The UK bus services in rural areas are far superior to those in France. Perhaps you should start a yellow black & red vest nationwide protest. The Macron government will soon wilt under pressure as usual. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

You should stick to Parish council politics where you are on much safer ground.

  20. We have gone from civil unrest being an issue for many in the UK to your French contacts being very concerned. If you ever need a few Bob give Daniel Levy a call as he's looking for someone to go to the new ground and move the goalposts. You're an expert.
    You're right I shouldn't swear on here - apologies.
