A couple of weeks ago I hit 4 Aces on the flop and I was trying to think how much I could bet to get a call without scaring off the only other player in the pot. Imagine my joy when he went all in
A couple of years ago, I managed to fluke my way through 2 tourys to make a $300,000 game. I **** myself. Made it down to around 108th or so and got rolled by a bigger 4 of a kind than mine. All in and and killed. I won about $450. It took me a couple of days to get over it, but now it's all a laugh. Biggest tourny win I've had. Did win a $3500 holiday in a club points tourny run over a year though.
had a straight flush once, 4,5,7, spades on the flop, the 8 on the turn, and had the 6 in my hand, one player had the king, another had the ace

Went on a cruise once and won £400 once - great buzz.
Played the cards brilliantly, which is a great feeling - like a striker on a scoring run or a bowler in a rhythym.
It didn't pay for many drinks though - £5 for a beer and £7.50 for a G&T, Rum and Coke etc.
