this isnt a scam you halfwits there is umpteen websites offering poker bankrolls the only catch is, you have to play a certain amount of hands or earn a certain amount of points before you can actually withdraw the money. if you have a m8 with an account for the same poker site you pick then you can just lose the money to him in a heads up cash game, get him to withdraw it and the moneys yours.
Eddie, can you not read? I said I already tried this last year and it is a complete and utter scamola.
Impossible Dev, ive done it myself twice with PokerStrategy and once with TheBankrollMob and got $150, you must have failed the quiz even though the answers are easily available through the magic of google How can it possibly be a scam? Almost every major Poker firm offers free bankrolls, knowing fine well that the majority will never complete the required amounts of raked hands or accumulate the required amount of points. You can either play away the $50 or get it through a friends account.
You won't mind that I reported it here.... http://www.consumerfraudreporting.org/Scam_Websites.php ...then, will you?
I can assure you I completed and passed the quiz without the need of Google because I have been playing poker for nearly 40 years, I got confirmation that I had passed the quiz then they asked for a photocopy of my passport to verify my age. I sent them a B&W scan of my old PP with some details redacted. They then asked me for a colour scan which I also sent them. They they asked for a scan of a "Current" passsport, I e-mailed them why they need a Current passport scan if all they need to verify was my age......No reply. Call me suspicious if you like but i'm not giving anyone a scan of a current passport on the promise of money I will never see.
