Wandered on to your board to see if I could get any of your lot's thoughts on tomorrow's game. I don't see a match thread anywhere so thought I'd post here Any ideas as to the side you'll put out? After Saturday's debacle for us (Arsenal) I expect some kind of response but think it will be a tough game. Any thoughts?
I'm hoping for Vorm Rangel, Chico , Williams , Davies Dyer , Shelvey , Britton , Michu , Routledge Bony Pablo may be on for either Shelvey or Michu depending on if the gaffer thinks either aren't ready for a start. Cheers
Roof its a strong side but i think we should rest bony and one or two other key players against the arsenal and get them fresh for our home games where we will have more of a chance of winning, I would play michu though as he needs games under his belt and play for a point rather than try and go for a win and leave us wide open, We should use our players wisely in our remaining games and keep our strongest sides for our remaining home games. Arsenal i feel will want to give their fans something after the way they were battered against chelsea so there will be a lot of running involved trying to keep up with them and that wont help us for our next home game only 4 days away. So lets use our head and rest key players and conserve their energy for the games we have more chance of winning....We seen what the fringe players could do against everton a couple of weeks back so we are not without any chance there of getting something...
Sorry dai , it's all hands on deck from here. We don't have the luxury of picking and choosing our battles with 8 games remaining . Every game , big or small , is opportunity for survival. Anyone gets injured at this point , replace him but if they don't get injured ride the best players till the end
Lets stuff the Gunners like last season, before Laudrup's tactics ruined everything!................... please log in to view this image
Is this the same Bony we criticised Laudrup for dropping in the big games earlier on in the season? Bony starts the game.
8/1 is very generous odds on your demise but I can't see it happening myself.I just think Sunderland have too much to do. 18 Sunderland 19 Cardiff 20 Fulham
6 of Sunderlands last 10 games, Liverpool , Spurs , Everton , Man city , Chelsea and Man U. They have taken1 point from there last 4 Premier League games. I assume they will lose to Liverpool on Wednesday but if they lose to WestHam on the weekend , Im 'ready to call the time of death.
I think roofjack is right.Sunderland came to us on Saturday in relatively high spirits at least if their posters were anything to go by.Getting done 2-0 by us seems to have knocked the stuffing out of them.I don't know why they were so upbeat because we had only conceded one this year at home despite playing Citeh,Spurs and Newcastle. If they don't beat West Ham then I think roofjack is right and that may be it for them.Swansea will be fine.See you Saturday and next year!
We must now go all out every game with our strongest team! No need to rest players unless they are not 100% To play Tuesday and then Saturday isn't the same as Thursday then Sunday.
But it's already been discussed, so what's the point of just repeating what's already been said. Just read all the old threads. Then no need to post. Whether it was right or wrong, it's done.
Well if we do, I would like to see more of Emnes, we need to give this lad a run out to gain some form, he's more mobile than Bony, or put him behind Bony, and substitute Michu or vis versa, we need to improve our cutting edge up front, we create the chances but have failed all season to bury them enough!...............
My favourite u tube video. Two fabulous goals, fantastic commentary, and whinger Wenger in his Mr. Blobby coat. This all happened during Laudrup's watch, didn't it?. Ah,Michael, things will probably never be as good as this again.
