MIKE Ashley will drag Rangers into a courtroom in London this morning as he ramps up his war against Dave King.

Ashley’s Sports Direct firm have lodged papers at the High Court Chancery Division and will have their case heard at 10.30am by Mrs Justice Asplin – 24 hours ahead of a showdown with the Rangers board at an explosive general meeting tomorrow.

Details of the exact nature of the legal action were being kept secret last night but it is understood this latest move is NOT an attempt to force the club into repaying a £5million crisis loan which was agreed with Sports Direct by the previous regime.

Lol the Daily Record was effectively called a comic in court and huns need to pay 20k costs
