Yesterday I contacted Livingston Football Club and asked for a comment on their disgusting programme notes for Saturday’s game against Rangers.

I still await a reply but I note that Livi Chairman Gordon McDougall has issued an apology for the affront to Rangers fans. In my opinion and that of other Rangers fans I have spoken to, this apology falls far short. There was no mention of any recrimination against the person who wrote the offensive notes but rather there was praise for the programme staff.

Also, crucially, there was no admission of wrongdoing and error by McDougall.

As a result, I would urge every Rangers fan to boycott Almondvale until a much more repentant response is heard from the club.

Furthermore, I can confirm that the Committee of the Rangers Supporters Loyal is also calling for a boycott of games at Livingston’s stadium until a much deeper apology is given. In addition, the RSL is calling for both the SFA and SPFL to take action against this blatant insult by Livingston toward a fellow member club.

Gordon McDougall has woefully underestimated the wrath of Rangers supporters if he thinks his sorry excuse for an apology will calm the situation. Maybe a much sparser crowd at Rangers’ next visit will teach him the lesson he is not taking to heart.

Arsenal are my English team but I do like Chelsea so an encounter between the two pulls on my loyalties.

Saying that, Arsenal did not fail to match expectations of a lacklustre performance against their London rivals. The game was dull but two goals from Chelsea saw off any challenge from the Gunners, if, indeed you could call it a challenge.

Arsene Wenger’s teams consistently lack fight and toughness, meaning that the the players have to play at 100% of their skill potential to beat the bigger sides. That is unlikely to happen against a Jose Mourinho team as he knows just how to set up against skillful opponents in a way that shuts them down.

Arsenal need a couple of real hard cases to mix it up. They are the pretty boys of football. When they get to play, they are breathtaking to watch. When they are not allowed to play, they are torture at times to behold.

The Gunners have been crying out for exactly the kind of striker Mourinho loves – bruisers like Drogba and Costa.

Wenger’s preference for the likes of Welbeck and Giroud is why Arsenal are never serious title contenders. The Chelsea dressing room will stink of sweat after a game while Arsenal’s will stink of body lotion. That is the real difference between the sides.

Well done to Accies for a great start to the season and a historic win over Ronnie Delia’s stuttering Celtic side yesterday.

Celtic just cannot seem to find any kind of consistency and have slumped down the table as a result.

At this rate, there is a really good chance Rangers and Celtic will meet this season, even if they avoid each other in the cups.

I am talking about the play-offs, of course…

Time for a few bombs and death threats <ok>

Plus, this spastic supports three teams - the huns, Arsenal and Chelsea. What a ****ing spanner of a human.

The rangers fans are absolute beeling at being called a new club on SSB. At least we know how to wind them up at the next old firm game.
