<laugh> FFS.

There's where the problem lies: the immediate challenging of Celtic once they return to the top flight.

After all that's happened, it's still about sticking it up Timmy once Rangers return to where they belong which is lording it over everyone else and claiming world records.
Yet, the position they're now in, liquidation, the potential for another administration, the in-fighting etc et al, shouldn't the main aim just be to return to the top league? Even if they were to do **** for a season or 2 after that, getting settled and all, before building a title challenging squad. Even then, who is to say they'll immediately start pumping the rest of the opposition? To me, that makes more sense than building a team 2 years before they even get there, to pump 6 goals past burger van workers, whilst paying them exorbitant wages to do so.

It's ****ing mental, but I guess it's what keeps some of the idiots aboard, "naw it'll be fine if we spunk all the money now, cos soon enough we'll be pumping celtic again <ok>"!

Shamelessly nicked but thought it was funny lol

The Rangers fans couldn’t vote the board out, but they did make sure that their hands were tied behind their backs. They made sure that the club can’t raise money. They made sure that Rangers go into the most severe austerity of their history and, perhaps, even into administration once more.

The institutes voted to save the club.

The fans voted to kill it.

At this time of year, what could be more fitting than the turkeys voting for Christmas.

Wouldn't the first thing to be cut be the wages though?

Employment law precludes this unless they go into administration.

Without going into a long protracted post, I cannot honestly see a way out for them
Laxey and Celtic Asset Management, Albert Abelo etc etc.

It's going to happen all over again to the rfc fans. They must pay up or watch their fixed assets turned as Chuckie so eloquently put it, to dust.

Green, Whyte, Celtic........yeh cudnae make it up.

It doesn't make sense to anyone assuming that they want to keep the club going.

Why permit wages to be so high, why not tell the hordes from the very beginning........instead of bringing players on £10K or £15K per week or even the Templetons etc on thousand per week, they simply have to hold the threat of pay for SB or we close the club down, but that would not have allowed the IPO or ST sale to go ahead.

They might not be quite so worried about that this time round.

Resolution 10 probably would only delay the inevitable. It would have also diluted the fans holding to somewhere around 1.2%. Current shareholders have a firm grip and by god they will not let go. MM could have tapped into favours for more from the II but the current holders did not want that, so they jettisoned him. Stockbridge gives his bonus back........hmmm. He'll get it back somehow, rest assured. Not btw from SEVCO.
