Great to see Lennon at his best, over the Hearts problem saying after losing Scotland 2nd biggest team last season , Scottish football can't afford losing Hearts .
 
Lennon was spot on , Rangers went bust trying to match and beat Celtic and failed , so who is the biggest club in Scotland ?? Are Sevco in the top 20 ???

It was, almost everyone who did it is completely ignorant of the origin.

That is what they tell people Mick.... But in this thread we know that they are all fully au fait with the origins of their hateful ritual.

In a similar vein I had to put my kids on the naughty step when I caught them and their friends doing the hokey cokey. Their cries of "I didn't know that one of the suggested origins of that dance was a mockery of the latin mass"...... A highly unlikely excuse.
 
a bit pointless and I don't know if it scores any points ..but... was driving around today and listening to ABC radio which plays BBC radio stuff - they had on what I think was alan greens world football show, which had an item on football in Indonesia which has the fourth largest population in the world, they were talking about issues of corruption etc holding Indonesia back as it is a football crazy nation - apparently - with such a large population and should do better..... anyway, while interviewing Indonesian football fans in a club or bar who were watching a game ( and who tend to only follow foreign teams ) in the background they were belting out the celtic song....it was a bit surreal.

They'll be renaming the place Timdonesia soon. You only need to look at Abu Dabi for to see what a good old fashioned Celtification can do for a place.

when I was listening to it I began to think hmm, maybe those old celtic view stories of undiscovered tribes in the amazon having grown up as sellick fans after seeing the hoops play on some loggers tv that they sneaked a look at weren't so far fetched after all...
