Alex McLeish? Could this be the same McLeish who was hunted out of Ibrox some 10yrs ago because his 'Rangers' team were: 18 points behind League leaders Celtic; sitting in 4th place behind Celtic, Hearts & Hibs; beaten 2-0 by Aberdeen; and comprehensively beaten, at home, 3-0 by Hibs in the 4th round of the Scottish Cup ... & he had brought in some players who turned out to be duds?

Looks like the Dybbucks can't afford to pay any decent new manager on top of the compensation they'll have to pay to Warbs & Co., so it'll either be a very cheap replacement or, as is more likely as reported here, Murty will carry on at least until the summer.

If they appoint someone like old Walter as 'Director of Football' he'll be doing it on the cheap for a while and wont have to take the flak on the front line but that'll prove that they really are skint & King's 'children's inheritance' remains intact.

Have to say, I do feel sorry for the decent fans (by the law of averages there must be at least a few :)). King is just another in the line of bloodsuckers with whom they've been stuck - like flies round the proverbial ...
