There are some truly **** remarks on here. You should be beating sides like us? Why, because your a big club? We had one of the best home records last year, and we will this year. Okay, you hit the bar......We had a shot cleared off the line. Johnson had a good shot saved, that's a goalkeepers job. Just because it was on target, doesn't mean you should have won. You had the ball in the net, rightly flagged offside. Overall, good game and a fair result. Both teams had players that didn't perform and anyone that says you thoroughly deserved the three points is talking tripe.
I think you should read some of the trollop written by your fans on here too mate I thought you were lucky to get something, and given the money we've spent, most would be expecting us to beat a team built on a shoe string.
I have mate, my comment referred to those too. In the 4 games we have played against eachother in the past two seasons, we have won 2, drawn 2. Pressumption is the mother of all **** up's. We were not lucky. How can you say that? We, like you, had decent spells of pressure and had a shot cleared of the line.
Well opinions are opinions. I think we had enough chances in the first half and were unfortunate with the goal and hitting the bar not to take the lead - from there it might of opened up. But then it might not of. Who knows?
We'll agree to disagree then? Lol. We both had chances, nobody took them, we were both ****e, happy with a point.
Yeah I agree! We werent good enough to beat you at the end of the day and you did have your chances too
The goal was offside, and hitting the bar is as good as a hoof into row z. It's still classed as a miss (as is a header cleared off the line) The point is, there were chances for both, none taken and all pretty equal. Draw was a fair result for me, but you really should be expecting to beat little Swansea
I see you're still playing the 'we're little swansea' game, do you go onto the boards of your opponents and play this game or is it just that you feel it more against us?
What are you on about? I don't see your problem with us accepting that we're just a small club. I hope we never lose our identity just because we're in the premier league, remain humble, and know how lucky we are to compete with the big boys punching above our weight. We will never be a big club, and I hope we don't start thinking we are, I can't see why that bothers you??
Nothing humble about the obsession with LFC that's still going strong considering the amount of time that's elapsed since Rodgers and Allen left Swansea. I have nothing against Swansea and if you see yourself as a small club that's fine by me, but you swerved answering if you go on the boards of all your opponents and tell them how your 'little old Swansea'?, it seems we've been told this on a daily basis since Rodgers decided to come to Liverpool.
I have mentioned it before on other boards, yes. Why wouldn't I? I really don't see your problem with it. It's nothing to do with Rodgers or Allen, I would have been saying the same last season, in fact I may have even said it on this board last season, but then you wouldn't have thought anything of it then because you wouldn't have thought I had some agenda. I'm just saying like it is and like it was last season. We're just a small club in a small city and the once mighty Liverpool shouldn't be worried about competing with us
The only people in the country who believe Swansea were the better team and we didn't do enough to win, just happen to be Swans fans, and probably a few blues and mans too. Even on the Radio today the bluenose presenter was saying we should have had that game wrapped up in the first half alone. They had one cleared off the line. That was it. We have to start being more clinical. Its that simple or we will keep drawing, or worse losing, these types of games again and again. Deja vu and defo 2 points dropped.
Here's a statistical analysis of the game that looks at what happened and shows that we did enough to win we just don't take our chances from EplIndex. Good read Reds: http://www.eplindex.com/22382/swansea-0-liverpool-0-match-stats-report.html
