At the moment Martial is the far more talented of the two and Rashford is the more committed. Neither of them is a striker or out and out winger, they are both what I would class wide attacker. I would hate to have to choose between them because in the next 2 or 3 years both have the ability to become "great". I think Martial is at a bit of a cross roads, he has shown just a little of the Memphis attitude lately and that is a bad sign.
Central midfield is definitely an area where we could buy someone who could be a guaranteed starter considering Dembele appears to be on the wane while Sissoko is basically a guy who comes on to help us shut up shop, with Seri or Milinkovic-Savic being obvious examples of the players we've been linked with. Theoretically there's a pair of starting spots up for grabs in both fullback positions too, so if we were to sign (to use two more players we've been linked with) Sessegnon and Pereira at least one of them would be a nailed-on starter, possibly both if Poch is feeling particularly unsympathetic to Aurier's growing pains.
If you think you are getting a like for this from me after your comment above, you can feck right off!!
RCL this is just about as likely as your predictions. RCL on Mastermind specialist subject: Bollocks. Your time starts now!
I was down at my mates in Hornsey at the weekend and we drove past the new stadium. It doesn't look like it can be finished in time. I'm sure it will, but there's some distance to go.
It's actually a little ahead of where The Wanda Metropolitano was at the sametime last year and that was completed in time. We have about three and a half months to be ready for mid-September. This is today...... please log in to view this image This was three and a half months ago.... please log in to view this image And again today... please log in to view this image ...and again, going back the same amount of time as is still available to us.... please log in to view this image ...and at the South Stand.... please log in to view this image The bottom right is the hotel and irrelevant to the football stadium.... please log in to view this image Lots to do but a final push, with no catastrophic problems, will see it done in time. Just.
Barely a nut gets tightened without us being aware thanks to this excellent thread below. If you want to see progress, look in the thread https://www.not606.com/threads/new-stadium-plans.297537/
You're obviously keeping close tabs on it I only saw the outside and the cranes. I'm sure there'll be heavy penalties if they don't finish on time, so it'll get done. Unless Carillion is the main contractor
