It seems that Deidre is trying a bit too hard to pretend that seeing Chelsea’s most successful manager going to Spurs isn’t giving him a bit of ring sting.
They're welcome to him. Says he wouldn't go there because he loves the Chelsea fans too much? <laugh> Still, he'll get a decent pay off.

Yeah can't see it happening either. Would be dynamite for the Bantz though.

Woodward is in love with Poch, I’d imagine he’ll now starve Ole in January and give him the least chance of success to get his man through the door.

If you get him with your resources, you'll be big title contenders again.

The "he" in that sentence could apply to quite a large number of people! <laugh>

I’d imagine it’s a fairly small group of people who wouldn’t want to manage Arsenal. Unless you’re already managing a top club like Barca, RM, PSG, Bayern etc where you both earn mega money and have a huge chance of success then why wouldn’t you go for a job like Arsenal?

Get to live in London, the club pay big wages to the manager, good level of prestige at the club, good stadium and facilities and decent funds for player transfers and wages. It’s got to be one of the best jobs in football. There can only be a handful of managers in a better job at any time. Outside of the EPL there’s maybe 10 clubs max that are a more attractive proposition?

I'm sure Alan Pardew would be up for it.
Who would you want that would actually take it, though?

Arteta, Gerrard and Vieira are all high up in the betting.
Can't see Allegri fancying it, so Benitez is probably the biggest and best name in the running.
I think he's a good manager and would do well, but I doubt your fanbase would agree, generally speaking.

Not sure who I’d go for at the moment tbh - I’d give pretty much anyone a go over Emery though!

Ancelloti threw his hat into the ring last time around. Allegri is maybe an option if he fancies coming over to England. I’d maybe give Arteta a punt until the end of the season if we sacked Emery now, might have learnt a thing or two from Guardiola.

Benitez - not sure, I think he’s a pretty good manager. Again not sure he is the answer but I’d take him over Emery.

Just curious, why would any off the clubs mentioned actually want Pooch?

He's never won nowt, all the clubs mentioned are serial winners.

Arsenal and United haven't really been serial winners these last few years.
